There are many ways to talk about the past in English, but the simple past is the most
common way. The simple past in English is equivalent to the past imperfect and indefinite
preterite of Spanish. We use the simple past for complete actions in the past.
To form the simple past with regular verbs, we use the infinitive and add the ending "-ed". The
form is the same for all people (I, you, he, she, it, we, they).
