[End of up to 50 fittings / valves data provided by Alan Ashfield with FREEHCP
September 2017]
You must leave the 3 lines of square brackets as this is how the program separates
the pipe types
from the valve types so you don't have to remember to update any total numbers etc.
Please do not change the H E L T order of fittings so FREEHCP can automatically
find them.
For the fittings marked $ the equivalent lengths have been specified by their
suppliers
for that pipe type and will not to be corrected for the bore / H-W C factor of
Schedule 40 pipework
There is room below for you to record the date/time/person of any changes /
additions
to this database for records or regulatory purposes and you should keep a backup
copy
on a USB stick, in the cloud or at home. You can also copy this data to other file
names
with NOTEPAD or similar for specific projects or clients - just a different name in
Q40.
I list below the optional codes after the sizexlength pipe data :-
= Pipe type if different from Q32 eg. =S10
+ Fitting/valve type from above list (with no off) eg. +GV or +T or +4E
pc Hazen-Williams C-factor if different from standard for pipe type eg. pc110
ps Pipe slope in (not drawn up/down) eg. ps6.0 or ps-12.0 (if end below start)
ak Added K-factor for MJC, orifice plate etc. (= Q/square root P) eg. ak45
ae Added equivalent length of fitting(s) in feet if not in database eg. ae76
ap Added constant pressure drop in psi for BFP, special valves eg. ap4
af Added constant flow in gpm for internal hoses, hydrants etc. eg. af150
ph Pendent head at end node OR
uh Upright head at end node (leave out if no operating head / nozzle)
hk Head K-factor (only if ph/uh) if different from Q14 eg. hk9
hm Head minimum pressure in psi (only if ph/uh) if different from Q15 eg. hm20
hc Head area of coverage in ft (only if ph/uh) if different from Q13 eg. hc111
hd Head density in gpm/ft (only if ph/uh) if different from Q11 eg. hd 0.33
" Short comment at end of line to explain who/when/what eg. "BFP or "BOR
