2. What is unique about this campus? This campus provides smaller class sizes of
30-40 compared to other universities such as U.B.C. It is much smaller in
geographic size, and provides hands-on learning and access to work experience
outside of the classroom.
3. What kind of programs are offered? At K.P.U. they offer 120+ different programs
to students of all ages. Surrey specifically offers programs such as sciences, arts
and business, while the Langley campus offers nursing and health programs.
Mostly undergraduate.
7. How do I know what classes to register for? Educational advisors are available at
the Surrey campus to everyone, providing paths and necessary courses for the
degree/occupation wanted.
9. How do you provide academic advice to students? Because of the smaller school
and class sizes, the teachers/professors are very assessable to students. They
have open office hours where they are able to answer questions from the
students.

10. Where are the best places to study on campus? The library offers quiet and silent
spaces to study, as well as free data bases for students for research. There are
study spots all over campus, including in cafs and the airport lounge.
12. How can I get involved with athletics or clubs and societies? Through the Get
Involved program, many clubs and athletics are advertised and offered to
students. At the recreational desk, you can find access to sporting activities.
14. What surprised you about campus? Very small and assessable, lots of options
provided to students.
15. What did you like about the campus? Smaller class sizes, easier transition from
high school, closer to home, cheaper tuition, lots of services, assessable
teachers and information.
16. What did you not like about the campus? No residence, small (claustrophobic)
hallways, classes wanted could be spread out at other campus (Langley,
Cloverdale, etc.)
