Summary of Job Responsibilities
Monitor the mechanical inspection scope to ensure Contractor and sub-contractors perform the
work as per the agreed scope of work, project specifications, and schedules and to meet with
the applicable standard. Supervise the contractor and sub-contractor personnel to ensure
contractor performs all work to agreed standards for safety, health and environment and to
attaining high levels of HSE performance. Ensure assigned scope of work is carried out without
any significant HSE incidents. Ensure the work is carried out in time and in accordance with
scope of work, specification and quality requirement.
Inspection carried out based on piping isometric drawing, GA Drawing, P&ID, Structural
drawings, flowline route line drawings.
Inspection, construction and Material coordination for Pressure vessels, piping ,pipe line, flow
lines, heat exchangers, filter houses and steel structural items, Preparation/approval of QAPs
and ITPs, establishing WPS, PQR and WPQT for Piping and structural related Dossiers.
Inspection and witness activity of material inspection, fit-up, welding, NDT, hydro testing,
pneumatic test, PWHT, surface preparation test and Painting.
Inspection and witness activity of coating execution for onshore and offshore.
Packages valves, Air compressor, IUG SKID, Pipes and fittings, pipeline, Flow lines, structures,
Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Heater & cooler, Knockout drums, HP separator, gas
scrubber, Air receiver, Filter house and Pipe racks
Deftly reviewed / approved various construction procedures & drafted projects specific
procedures
Rendered assistance to the Design Team in establishing Design and Material Compliance as per
Client Engineering Standards
Ensured proper coordination with Clients, Engineering, Production and other departments
Efficiently sorted out day-to-day Construction and Quality related issues and led the QC & NDT

Coordinating with Contractor construction & Inspection Team for carrying out the required
activities as per the project scope of work
Reviewing contract/ construction drawings/procedures for piping/ pipeline/pressure vessels,
structural items
Monitoring quality trends including supervision of interior inspection, surveillance personnel
and assist fabrication heads in the areas of quality
Overseeing Welding Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification Tests and Destructive Testing
of Specimens
Administering Radiographic Interpretation and performing signing of NDT & Release Inspection

Supervising Non-Destructive Testing of equipment and piping encompassing review of
preliminary interpretations carried out by NDT Technicians
Heading all construction activities and identifying deviations from the specification and
procedural requirements and assist in rectifying the identified deficiencies observed.
Stage wise inspection carried out for the structural steel fabrication for the pipe racks,
dimensional, fit up, welding inspections as per the approved drawings & procedures/
galvanization inspection for the structural steels as per A123/A123M.
In process inspections carried out (welding, painting, picking passivation) for the filter house
modules (GDX, second stage and walk ways)
Final and trial assembly inspections carried out for the filter house modules and the inspections
for the structural (beams, columns, external ladders and gratings)

 Hydro-testing & pneumatic of piping / vessel /valves as per Hydro-Test package- procedures
QA/QC activities undertaken by contractor and review the level and standard of such activities
and report Non-compliance to project specifications
Verified As-Built Drawings, Material Reconciliation Reports and Quality Dossiers
Demonstrated excellence in inspecting all inward materials, fabrication, installations for pipings
and pipelines, Process Platforms, Heaters, coolers, Pressure Vessels, skid, on plot piping and off
plot flow lines etc.
Supervised all Painting / Coating and inspection works for pipeline, piping and structural starting
from surface preparation level up to final coating application & documentation
Responsibilities included monitoring of surface preparations and painting / coating applications,
checking availability of various testing equipment with their respective calibration certificates,
condition of the coating materials, their storage, their test certificates, M.S.D.S etc.
Witnessing various tests such as measurement of surface profile, surface cleanliness.
Testing and record the values of humidity, dew point and temp.
Measuring WFT, DFT and Carrying out inspection of various tests such as holiday detection,
adhesion tests.
Identifying various painting / coating defects and resolving them wherever possible.
Efficaciously carried out all the works as per specification without any deviation
Conducted inspection of fireproofing for structures and heat shrink sleeve coating of field joints
of pipelines.
Checked Dry Film Thickness and Holiday Detection / Pin Hole Detections and ensured that
calibrated testing equipment was used.
Headed all on-stream and shutdown construction & inspection activities
Adhered to all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and
procedures
Took part in Non-Destructive Testing of equipment and piping, including review of preliminary
interpretations carried out by subordinates
Instrumental in interpreting Radiography Film, conducting Ultrasonic testing and executing MT,
PT inspection
