Cutting Edge Carbide (CEC) is a UK distributor of a new brand of advanced ISO Carbide Inserts for Turning. Our products are of a Europe-
an source Guaranteed. We sell direct to engineering companies throughout the entire United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland via our web-shop.
Established in 2013, CEC is one of the UKs fastest growing and dynamic carbide insert suppliers. We offer an extensive range of carbide
inserts to fulfil the needs of small, medium and large engineering companies.
Partners of Cutting Edge Carbide (CEC) have followed their own very specific method in the development of grades and geometries with
total thoroughness over many years. All geometries are developed in the chip channel. The breaking of the chip is precisely analysed
using an ultra-high-speed camera and the optimum chip flow is derived from this method. Following on from the enormous success of
the Steeltec CECP15T (P15) and Steeltec CEC240F (P40) grades, we have now introduced our new Steeltec CECP25T (P25) grade desi-
gned for a straight and uninterrupted cut. As in all our developments the long tool life and high cutting speeds that our customers expect
are guaranteed.
