Actions to address risks and opportunities
Planning is not a single event but an on-going process, anticipating changing circumstances and
continually determining risks and opportunities, both for the workers and for the OH&S
management system.

Undesired effects can include work related injury and/or ill health, non-compliance with legal
requirements and other requirements or damage to reputation.

Planning considers the relationships and interactions between the activities and requirements for
the management system as a whole.

ISO 45001 requires organizations to take into account how suppliers and
contractors are managing their risks.
When outsourcing the organisation needs to have control of the outsourced
process(es) to achieve the intended outcome(s) of the OH&S management
system.
Where is 45001 now?
PC283 and ISO recognition :
Nearly 70 countries (in the PC 283) are involve in the development of ISO 45001
(termasuk Malaysia)
Status : DISO 45001.2 [2nd draft]
From DISO to FDISO/ISO with more than 1500 comments to be discussed in SOCSO
Melaka Rehab Center, Malaysia on 18 to 23 September 2017.
Hopefully Malaysia would be the final stage to establish the ISO 45001:2017
standard.
If not, it will be turned to Technical Specification
