PERSONAL I desire to work at a progressive school that has a positive environment.
STATEMENT
SKILLS & I have worked with children from ages three to eighteen. I have coached children and
ABILITIES babysat for years. During my time at Wesleyan and in elementary classrooms, I have
been involved in parent teacher conferences, IEP meetings, and RTI meetings. I have
planned, taught, and assessed a standard based math unit. I have used pre assessment
data to plan a lesson and post assessment data to plan reengagement activities. I was
trained and became Project Wild Certified and I have built and utilized a Reading
Diagnostic Kit.

LEADERSHIP Being a coach is a big responsibility and requires great leadership. I had to learn how
to stay positive when things didnt go as planned and fix the problem. I soothed
children when they were hurt and encouraged them to move forward. I had personal
relationships with each child and even helped them with homework before and after
practices. I believe coaching has taught me a lot on how to lead children in the right
direction.

During my time at Wesleyan I have been a part of the Equestrian team and club. My
first year in the club, I was vice president, then I became president of the club my
second year. My second year being on the team, I became captain and continued to be
captain going into my third year.
