EDISON Group established in 2005, one of the encouraging and evolving business groups
headquartered in Bangldesh, is founded with the aim of enhancing all aspects of life for the
customers with powerful brands, reliable products and services. The group has diversified
investment in Technology, Communication, Power, Real Estate, Electronics & Value Added
Service sectors in Bangladesh. Presently, EDISON Group has seven strategic business units
operating in the market.
Problem/Situation
As the business grew in its day to day business operation, the group has faced operational
problems in different departments of business. Those problems could be broadly categorized
in inventory management, people management, accounting, distribution, and procurement.

operation. Instead, they have softwares which are in house built aimed for different
operational departments and interlinked with one another. These are the following ERPs they
use
Edison Learning and Management System (ELMS): Internal learning and knowledge sharing
module.
People Management Software (PMS): Human Resource Management module.
Tally: Accounting Software
EPRS: Procurement module
EDLS: Distribution and Sales module
