Strengths of the lesson:

Good start to the lesson with good behaviour and hands raised nicely to answer questions
At times you were very strong with the students, try and do this more often (when you
threatened to take points away and you gave them a stern look)
Children engaged and interested most of the time
Good, strong voice
Good idea to do a game but be careful it doesnt get too noisy
Good interaction with the children
Effective monitoring

Areas for development:

Aisha, you need to develop more self-confidence. Observe your MST as much as possible and copy
all of her routines. Do not create any new routines as these will confuse the children. Ensure your
planning is done well in advance and check all parts of it with your MST.

Focus for next lesson:

No more than 5-7 minutes on the carpet move the students onto the tables and get them
settled into an activity early in the lesson
As soon as the children start to get noisy, react to them with the SAME routine as Ms Wendy
Think about your transitions what can you do to improve them?
