Classroom Centers Planning

What additions, differentiations, or reflections do you have about centers based on students' use in the previous week
or your plans for this week?
I noticed my students are learning to use their environment around them to problem solve. (ie using the number
wall/ten frames to help them identify numbers that they may not know.) I have added sound buttons for numbers 11-
20 by the number card, since those are the numbers students struggle with most.

1. Table Top Centers During Small Groups and Whole Group Timing:

Phonics:
1. Student name frames (for low students) to recreate their names using letter magnets.
2. Read, build, write
3. Pattern blocks for A-Z (connecting letters to their shape)
4. uppercase / lowercase matching game
5. Create cvc words using letter dice, writing, and reading the word (with a partner)

Maths:
1. Playdough mats in 10 frame
2. Cards to say #s and work with a partner to perform an action that many times taught in small groups last
week.
3. Number stamps (1-10) matching number to quantity
4. Cards with pictures to count and circle the correct number
