So you too, when you see these things happening, know [without any doubt] that the kingdom of
God is near [Luke 21:31/Amplified Bible]
First, we want to give praise, honor and glory to the King of kings and the Lord of lords for all that
He has done; is doing and continues to do in our hearts and lives!
Today, as never before, Im sure all of us can reflect on the paths that we have walked in life and
with a loud voice shout to the highest hills, The Lord has truly brought me a mighty long way.
However, in all actuality, we still have a long way to go.
Cecilia and I would like to wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year!
Did you know that Veterans Day is intended to honor and thank all military personnel who served
the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans? It is marked by parades and church services
and in many places the American flag is hung at half mast. A period of silence lasting two minutes may
be held at 11am. Some schools are closed on Veterans Day, while others do not close, but choose to
mark the occasion with special assemblies or other activities.

Please continue your prayers for those who lost friends, family and loved ones in the many tragedies
that have beset our nation this year. In an article titled, The Tragedies of 2017 Will Test the Bonds
That Connect Us, Now and for Years to Come, written by Ms. Susanna Schrobsdorff, Chief
Strategic Partnerships Editor and a TIME columnist, I believe it accurately captures the heartbeat felt by
our nation. You can read it at, http://time.com/4970294/tragedies-2017-will-test-bonds-that-connect-us/
In a few short days, 2017 will come to a close. I know we all have faced or are facing challenges
and losses; however, we cannot and must not lose sight of our God given mission and our responsibility:
to tell everybody, about Somebody, who can save anybody: time is precious, so what we must do, we
must do it hurriedly.
Weve been in the U.S. since the 18th of September, and although it has been a thrill to visit with
family, old friends and even the new friends that we have enjoined, our hearts continue to yearn for our
next assignment, the Philippines.
Almost daily I receive encouraging emails from people all across the Philippines letting us know
how much they are eagerly anticipating our relocation there for ministry. There are two possible
locations that we have considered: the former Subic Bay naval base and an area on the outskirts of
Olongapo City, Barrio Barretto. Keep us in prayer that we will have the Mind of the Lord in these and
all matters.
My prayer for you is that you will have continued blessings, continued rejoicing, continued success
and a continual expectancy for the soon and eminent return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
No matter how tired you may feel, or how exhausted you may be, keep on keeping on for Jesus!
your best days are just ahead!
