during the past few weeks.
Most importantly, we are really thankful that many people have
shown up today. Thank you sincerely for your time, attention, and your
passion and efforts for our organization.

- MC1: We wont let you wait any longer. As you may know, CEFR or
Common European Framework of reference for languages is becoming
widely accepted as the standard for evaluating an individual's language
proficiency.

- MC2: And every year, the English Club holds the CEFR conference to give
you a general overview about this methodology, and more importantly, to
provide you with a multitude of tips and advice from those who have
achieved high score in international exams like Ielts or Toeic.

exams with high score, or you want to sit those exams by self-studying but
havent known where to start yet, then CEFR Conference is the must-go
event for you. We are sure that every minute you present here is not gonna
be wasted.

IV- Gii thiu Guest speaker 2 MR. Khang
- MC2: So now you guys have had the basic knowledge about the Common
European Framework of reference already. Do you know that the 6 levels
in CEFR, from A1 to C2 could be considered to be equivalent to different
levels in other language-specific scales such as Toefl IBT(0-120), Ielts(0-9),
Toeic (0-990), Cambridge exam (PET,KET,FCE,CAE,CPE) or PTE(5 levels)
?

- MC1: Yes, but among those scales, Ielts and Toeic are two certificates that
we need to have before we graduate from our university. Thats why today
EC has brought to you 2 competent guests who would give you tons of
precious tips.

- MC2: Please welcome the 1st guest speaker, mr.Luong Huy Khang, who has
conquered the Toeic test with the full score of 990. Please give him a large

- MC1: Its time for question and answer. I think our guest speaker, Mr.
Khang, would love to hear from you.

V- Gii thiu Guest speaker 3 Ms.Nghi

- MC1: Now that you have got hold of many useful information about the
Toeic test, we hope that it could help you to work out a suitable tactic for
yourself to get your dream score in this exam.
- MC2: Another gruelling test that we might need to take in the future is Ielts.
Certainly, the path to succeed in this one is never straight forward, you can
tell.
- MC1: But there is a girl who self-study for Ielts and passed it with flying
colours 8.5 out of 9.0
- MC2: How on earth can she do that?
- MC1: Absolutely a big question. So please welcome our last guest,
Ms.Vuong Nhat Nghi, to reveal her secret of achieving such a dream score
in Ielts exam. Everyone, please give her a big hand!

- MC1: Thank you very much ms.Nghi, thanks for your enormously useful
tips and valuable advice.
- MC2: Questions from the audience regarding the IELTS and study strategy
are more than welcome.

VI- Game
MC2: Now lets unwind ourselves with a small funny game called
Taboo.
- MC1: Now were going to divide you into 4 groups. Each team chooses one
representative to act out vocabulary items for their team to guess.
- MC2: Which means you cannot speak any words, making gesture of the
letters like A, B, or C (making example) in the air.
- MC1: Thats right. And each team will be given 3 minutes to act out 10
words. The team with the highest score will receive a present from us.
- MC2: If there happens to be more than 1 team with the same highest score,
the amout of time used to act out the items will be taken into consideration.
The faster you are, the better.
