Difficulty *****
Target: King Salmon
Start by the waterfall. Move when fish sightings slow. Salmon like to stay
behind brush piles. When fish is sited stop reeling salmon will attack every
time. Don't worry about chasing fish left and right. Keep rod tip just above
horizontal when fish is running. When fish runs toward you keep rod tip all
the way up.

From the start go in the direction of the house boat, but only go a short
distance at idle speed, when fishing slows continue toward house boat at slow
speed. Fish lure just fast enough that the lure dives, when it gets to 3 feet
deep reduce retrieve as slow as possible, when lure gets to surface increase
speed until it dives to 3 feet deep and repeat.

The difficult part of this tournament is you must be quick to release small
fish, set drag to 2 then increase to 3 when large fish strike, these Walleye
fight different that the Tonka Walleye Cup fish, the small ones seem to want
to jump into the boat, as soon as they get near the boat their hoisted in, if
they haven't made a run then stop reeling at 20 ft if they don't run release
them their probably under 3 lbs. Do not fish close to the boat if a small fish
hits you won't have time to determine if it's a keeper.
