Your new member packet consists of a member card, member certificate,


payment receipt, login credentials to access the password-protected
area of the ISACA web site, ISACA standards package, the current issue
of the Information Systems.

Depending on your location and subject to your local mail delivery


service, it may take up to four to six weeks for your new member packet
to arrive. However, you do not need to wait until then to begin
benefiting from your ISACA membership! You can take immediate advantage
of your member benefits by accessing the ISACA web site at
www.isaca.org. When you access products and services reserved for
members, you will be prompted for a username and password. If you are
unaware of your login credentials or need login assistance, please see
www.isaca.org/login.

To help familiarize you with the many benefits available through ISACA,

FAQs

> How can I notify ISACA of my new address, phone, e-mail etc.?

We encourage you to update your profile online by logging into


www.isaca.org and then clicking on ‘My Profile’. You may also send
changes via e-mail to membership@isaca.org or by fax at +1.847.253.1652.

> How can I obtain a receipt for my membership dues?

You will be mailed a receipt along with your new member packet. If you
paid online, you can also view and print a receipt by logging on at
www.isaca.org and then clicking on 'My Order History'.

> When will I receive my CISA or CISM exam registration receipt and
exam day admission ticket?

If you registered online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that


same day. All registrants will be sent via postal mail a receipt and an
exam candidate’s guide to your preferred mailing address.
Approximately four weeks prior to the exam date you will receive, both
via e-mail and by postal mail, your exam admission ticket including
exam location information. For any certification or exam related
question or concern, please feel free to contact the Certification
Department directly at +1.847.253.1545 ext. 772 or by e-mail
certification@isaca.org.

> How can I obtain my username and/or password to log onto the web site?

You may request to have your login credentials e-mailed to you by going
to www.isaca.org/login. Click on "e-mail address lookup." You will
arrive at a page to enter your last name (family name) and e-mail
address on the right-hand side. Follow the prompts and you will be
directed to a page where you can request to have your username and
password sent to the e-mail address in your ISACA profile. Please be
aware that the e-mail may end up in your spam folder. You may want to
add webmsg@isaca.org to your e-mail software trusted list.

> When does my ISACA membership expire?

All memberships expire on 31 December. The expiration date of your


membership is indicated in the second paragraph of this e-mail. It is
also indicated on the “Welcome” screen after you log in to the ISACA
web site (www.isaca.org).

> What is the process for renewing my membership?

Renewing online is possible beginning in October of the year your


membership expires. A hard copy renewal invoice is mailed in November.
If applicable, CISA and CISM certifications can also be renewed at the
same time you renew your membership.

> Can I cancel my membership and receive a refund or a partial refund?

No rebate of dues is available upon early termination of membership.

> How can I change my chapter affiliation?

You can change your ISACA chapter by logging into the ISACA web site at
www.isaca.org and clicking ‘My Profile’. Once you make this change,
you will be included on your new chapter’s roster, and they will then
include you on all chapter notifications, mailings, etc. If you wish
to contact them first, you can obtain their contact information at
www.isaca.org/chapters.

> Do I have to belong to a local chapter?

If you live or work within 50 miles/80 km of a chapter's territory, you


must belong to a chapter and pay both local chapter dues and
international dues. A listing of chapters and their dues can be found
at www.isaca.org/chapdues.

> What are my payment options when I place an order online?

On the payment screen of your online order you have the option to
either pay by American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club, VISA, check or
bank/wire transfer. To select a form of payment, click on the drop-down
menu arrow next to the text, ‘American Express’, and make your
selection. Then follow the prompts. If you choose bank/wire transfer
or check payment, you will arrive at a screen containing further
details to assist you in making your payment.
