Parte 1: Multiple-Choice Cloze

Encontraremos un texto con huecos que deberemos rellenar con una de las cuatro opciones
que se ofrecen. Lo que se pretende con este ejercicio es evaluar el nivel de conocimiento
acerca de las frases hechas, construccin de frases, collocations y la comprensin lectora, por
lo que deberemos llevar una base de gramtica y expresiones en ingls.

Trucos para aprobar la parte 1 del Use of English

Hay una serie de pasos que se pueden seguir para resolver el ejercicio de manera ordenada:

Lee el texto completo. Este primer paso es necesario para conocer el contexto y el
tema que se trata.

Lee las respuestas. As podrs ir encajando cada palabra en su hueco.

Lee frase por frase con atencin. Es importante entender bien el sentido de la frase
aislada para saber cul es la opcin adecuada.

Descarta rpidamente las que consideres incorrectas. Ahorrars mucho tiempo y


podrs centrarte en las que creas que son correctas.

Cntrate en las respuestas posibles. Trata de razonar por qu una es ms vlida que
las dems. Generalmente dos de ellas son totalmente falsas, y los dos restantes una
tiene ms papeletas que la otra. Realiza esta rutina al elegir las opciones, y aprenders
el patrn para acertar.

Mira la palabra que va delante y la que va detrs. Estas dos palabras nos dan las
pistas necesarias para elegir bien la respuesta. Es cuestin de fijarse y ver lo que pide
la frase.

NO TE DESANIMES SI FALLAS! En la prctica est el xito. No olvides que es un B2, es


un nivel alto.
