Jessica Pekpek and Alex Navarro are relatives.

Alex Navarro told Jessica Pekpek


that he will borrow one million pesos from her. Jessica told Alex that what she has in the
bank was P 800,000.00. Alex agreed to borrow paid amount. Alex assured Jessica to pay
her after one year from the date Alex borrowed the amount on March 17, 2011 with no
agreed rate of interest considering that they are relatives.

Both of them went to the office of the barangay captain on March 18, 2011 to
execute on agreement on the loan obtained. The office of the Barangay Captain of their
barangay prepared a katulagan/agreement signed by them and witnessed by two
barangay kagawads (Draft the agreement yourself to become an annex)

Sometimes on March 2012, Jessica verbally demanded from Alex to pay his loan
obligation plus interests. Alex promised to pay her on the first week of August 2012.
Came the first week of August 2012, Jessica went to Alex and demanded the payment of
the money but again Alex convinced Jessica that he will pay on the third week of
September 2012. Several visits made by Jessica to Alex to produced no result. Alex failed
to pay.

As a last ditch effort, Jessica sent a demand letter dated December 10, 2013
(draft a demand letter and mark it as an annex.) In Alex to pay the loan and accrued
interests. Alex seemed hardheaded. He did not pay anything to his relative Jessica.

Jessica is claiming that Alex be ordered to pay the loan, pay litigation expenses,
attorneys fees and damages (prepare the appropriate complaint of Jessica)
