Experience Summary

In his role as Chief Intellectual Property and Talent (CT&I) Officer of the Ajala TV Network he heads the development,
representation and exploitation of our Human and Intellectual property; our most valuable assets and the foundation of
our vision. He is dedicated to building our talent and intellectual property portfolio (content, brand, know how, trade
secrets, trade partners, customer relationships). He goes to work every day to think up new ways to exploit and
leverage all these "intangible assets" to achieve our goal of building the most recognized network brand helping
Africans travel all over the world.
Folarin is an expert in Talent and Intellectual Property. He internationally recognized Chartered Human Resources
Analyst and recently completed the World Intellectual Property Intellectual Property Course: WIPO IP PANORAMA. In
2008 while working as a Human Resources Executive at prestigious global professional service firm TATA Consulting
services he was formally recognized for his exceptionally performance and commitment to innovation by Chairman of
TATA Group Ratan N Tata at the 2009 TATA Innovation Award Ceremony. During his time working as TATA

Consulting Services India he worked with the recruitment and Talent management departments recruiting and
deploying talent for their consulting projects with high performance companies in the European, Middle East and
African region. Working with companies such as Bank of America, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, UPS, British
Petroleum and Epson.

Folarin Anifowoshe also has over 4 years experience working in the Media and Pay TV industries in India. He time
working with RPG India, Owners of Saregama: The leading media company in India with the largest home video and
movie archive with business spanning pay- TV, television, retail and digital distribution of music and home videos.
While at RPG he was recognized by the Executive Director as an excellent performer. Following his time in India he
returned to Nigeria in 2009 in search of career opportunities in an emerging African media industry. Folarin is
bringing his knowledge and experience to help the Ajala Travel Company recruit a team of innovative and competent
professionals to build ajala into the most recognized brand in the African Tourism and media industries.

He is a graduate of Political science from the University of Lagos Nigeria and has earned a Post Graduate certificate
in Human Resources Management from the Graduate Academy of Management. In 2009 he was also awarded a HR
Quotient 2 certificate by the Indian National Human Resources (HRD) Network Mumbai Chapter at the Welingkars
Insitute of Management Matunga, Mumbai. As an undergraduate he was the Vice President of AIESEC: the
international platform for young people to develop their potential with a presence in 107 countries. For his contributions
to AIESEC in Nigeria he was formally recognized by Pat Utomi Director of the Lagos Business School and Prof
Ibidapo Obe Former Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos: Board Members of AIESEC in Lagos Nigeria. Folarin
is a Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is passionate about travel and global cultures and has travelled
extensively around Africa and Asia.

Current Role Description

As the Chief Talent and Intellectual Property Officer of the Ajala Travel Company, my job is to manage and maintain
the company’s worldwide intellectual property portfolio (patents, trademarks, and licensing), as well as preparation of
legal documents and providing other documentation and compliance support. He reports to the Chief Executive Officer
in consultation with the Ajala Legal Counsel.
Primary Responsibilities:
 IP Portfolio management
 Maintain patent and trademark files and calendars, ensuring completeness, accuracy and that all due dates
are met
 Invention disclosure review and tracking
 Manage inventor incentive program
 Maintain IP legal budget and expense database, resolve IP legal invoice issues

 Perform research as requested, including patent searches
 Provide reports for patent review meetings.
 Maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
 Secure signatures on various documents (POA, Assignments, and Declarations)
 Preparation of legal documents
 Assist in preparation of legal documents, including primary responsibility for non-disclosure agreements and
materials transfer agreements
 Compose, draft and track revisions of documents
 Assist with licensing activities, such as tracking compliance with license terms and preparing correspondence
Other document management responsibilities
 Responsible for the coordination and completion of some government, regulatory, and compliance documents
 Preparation and maintenance of documentation to support other operational needs create electronic and
physical files, ensuring documentation gets filed appropriately.

In his role, I have worked at different levels and capacities that cover most areas of the
Human resources management such as Talent management, recruitment, deployment,
learning and development. I was deployment HR lead executive at the prestigious tata

consultancy services, was responsible for the staffing and allocation of employees
across geography, client relationship management, as well training and development of
both new and experienced in the company.

As an HR personnel working in deployment, I also worked with the talent acquisition in


the selection, recruitment and hiring of employees into the organization and as part of
my duties is to also assess the different skillset in accordance to the business

requirement raised by clients of the company. In 2005, I was the steering team
coordinator for P&G west Africa; I helped in the planning, management and supervision
of the career fairs that was organized for fresh graduates of the University of Lagos.
In this role, I had worked with AIESEC – the international platform for young people to
discover and develop their potentials, www.aiesec.org, as Vice President Exchange
development , my duties was to facilitate to deployment of talents across geographies,

members in the organization. I also responsible for the tracking of member’s career
development in line with organizational values and vision, ensuring both are interlocked.

I also managed the coaching and mentoring program for members across Growth
Networks such as (Western Europe & North America), Central Eastern Europe, and the
African Growth Network respectively.
In this role at Tata consulting services ( www.tcs.com) , I was responsible for the
staffing needs of TATA’s client such as bank of America, British petroleum, Microsoft,
Staffing and allocation
and also responsible for the deployment and allocation of employees across geography
(offshore & onsite) respectively.
In this role, as a Learning and development executive working with RPG, I was
responsible for training and development of employees, training inductions for new
employees, designing the training needs of employees, managed the E-learning
Career development program for RPG employees. Also in AIESEC ( www.aiesec.org) , I had worked as a
Coach, mentor and a trainer also in the tracking of members career development cycle
such as goal settings, career objective , linking members career goals with
organizational goals,
In this role, I had worked as a trainer at different levels and capacities , where I had to
run training seminars , induction seminars, facilitator at AIESEC conferences ( national

seminar organized in collaboration with the TATA group, India.
In this role, I have worked as an ENABLER to planning , reviewing policies, and
