JOB DESCRIPTION
Working as a team leader and supervise a team of mechanical fitter & contractors in
Installing, lifting, and assembly of all marine and mechanical equipments such as diesel
engine operation, maintenance, Fault finding &Trouble Shooting, Fuel System
Assembling, Dismantling, Servicing & testing of fuel injectors, High pressure fuel pumps.
maintain in Overhauling, pump, gear box jacking motor, mud pump, various kind of
equipment for rig vessel
 Coordinate and liaise with other section project leaders vendors, project Engineer, Project
manager and owners on all marine equipments installation repair, testing and
commissioning.
Assisting commissioning officers in commissioning every marine system and drilling
equipment.
Leading and monitoring of work force, fitting, assembling, alignment of equipment and
machinery, repair and overhaul of engine.
From beginning to end involved and lead technical team for make new rig vessel.
Marking, study drawing and specification to determine suitable materials installation.
Padding prior to installation of equipment or vessel e.g. Pressure vessel HP Separator,
Glycol contactor, Heat exchanger, Gas turbine compressor, Gas turbine generator etc.
Alignment & Levelness of equipment or vessel as per design requirement.
After alignment & levelness prepare shuttering for grouting e.g Epoxy or Cementitious
grout.
Structure Steel fabrication & Erection e.g. Pipe rack, Vessel Skid.
Using Precision Spirit Level, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Dial indicator,
Try square & Angle protector etc.
Capable of performing Drilling, Tapping, Rimming, Counter Boring, Counter Sinking,
Filing & Hand Hacksaw Cutting operations.
Use of tension wrenches impact and rad guns hytorc and hydrotite units on all forms of pipe
all work to QA level
