FEB. 9 SPACE SCIENCE UPDATE TO FEATURE HUBBLE'S BEST LOOK

Dramatic new Hubble Space Telescope images of eerie


edge-on disks of dust encircling young stars will be the
topic of the next Space Science Update (SSU) on Tuesday, Feb.
9, 1999. Entitled "Dusty Disks, the Builders of Worlds," the
SSU will be held at NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC, and
broadcast live on NASA Television. The panelists will
discuss the latest findings and the clearest views to date of
planetary construction zones.

Stardust Mission Pre-Launch Press Conference originally
scheduled to air live today at 2:00 pm EST from the Kennedy
Space Center has been postponed to 5:00 pm EST today.

X-38 Drop Test originally scheduled to air live today has


been postponed due to weather conditions. A scheduling update
will follow.

X-38 Drop Test Briefing scheduled to air live today has also
been postponed.
