Overview
DM Fax Server from Imecom Group gives you all the features and capabilities to fax-enable your entire
organization. You can implement and deploy faxing to all desktop PCs, integrate faxing into your existing
email server environment, use your web browsers to send and receive faxes, and automate faxing and
electronic document delivery of mission-critical business documents from all of your business
applications.

DM Fax Server is a Windows-based enterprise fax server solution. It features a flexible rules-based
architecture that enables system administrators to tailor the system to meet specific needs and
requirements.

Traditional Fax Over PSTN or Fax Over IP (FoIP):

With DM Fax Server, you can choose to implement an enterprise fax server that integrates with traditional
PSTN-based lines or VoIP telephony systems for fax over IP. With FoIP, you can send and receive faxes
over IP-based networks to reduce telephony costs. DM Fax Server supports Brooktrout TR1034, TR114,
and TruFax series fax boards for PSTN-based faxing, and TR1034 and SR140 IP-based fax boards for
fax over IP using T.38 and SIP.

Automatic Faxing From Any Application:

Imecom Group offers a number of integration options for enterprise applications to automate the
processing and delivery of your mission-critical information, i.e. purchase orders, invoices, statements,

Inbound Fax Routing

Inbound fax routing is a critical element of an enterprise fax server solution. When investigating and
implementing an effective fax server, a main goal should be total efficiency and automation. DM Fax
Server enables you to automatically forward inbound faxes directly to fax users, mailboxes, network
printers, and network folders using the following:
DID / DNIS / DTMF
CSID or CallerID
Inbound Fax Channel
OCR / ICR

You may also implement a simple static route where DM Fax Server forwards all faxes to a single
destination, i.e. a users mailbox, a shared mailbox, etc.

Least Cost Routing

Least Cost Routing (LCR) can be a vital cost savings feature to any organization. DM Fax Server uses
Least Cost Routing to eliminate your local toll and long distance telephony charges by determining the
least cost route your outbound faxes should take before transmitting them. LCR can save companies
hundreds and thousands of dollars in telephony charges.

DM Fax Server writes information to several databases. For your convenience, Imecom allows you to
choose the database platform best suites your needs - Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MS Access. If
you have an existing database server, you can choose to create DM Fax Server databases there so that
no additional licensing fees are required.
