Me and English

If someone mention English, my head will snap at the source of voice, or,
at least, my ears catch it but im just trying to look as flat as possibleokay, not
that flat. English is like moth to the flames, it attracts attention. Not that kind
attention to pretty girl-like, its just .. for some people like me, too enticing. Ive
always been love English. Not because it sounds cool, well, it does sounds cool
too, but thats not the actual reason I love it.

It started when I was in elementary school, at grade 5. I dont remember

precisely the year when thats happened, but if you want, you can do the
counting for me. At that timeuntil now actuallyI was madly in love with
Harry Potter, Titanic and Justin Bieber. Me and my twin sister are big fans of
Harry Potter. Three topics Ive mention above were totally popular in my class,
but my classmates mostly loved was Titanic. Almost everyday, me and a friend
of mine sang the famous soundtrack of the film by Celine Dion, My Heart Will
Go On. It was just for fun then. But thanks to J. K. Rowling, Harry Potters
actors & actresses and Justin Bieber. Because of them, I intended to study more
in english. I learned english with motivation that someday I can talk to them
with no difficulties. I know that sounds so childhood dreams, and I dont know
whether I will have that amazing chance or not, but despite the logic, I am
thankful that Ive ever had that faith to encouraged me.

I really put my heart into english. Let me tell you a very short experience
that motivated me more. Once upon a time, I heard some random people trying
to speak english, they actually really wanted to have a great skill in english but
the facility they had, cannot support them. I feel so sad, that our beloved
Indonesian people who actually wanted to learn english cannot do that, but to
those who had that education just threw that chance away. It is so unfair. That
fact pushed me to do something. I determined to study english with all my heart
so I can share the knowledge to those unlucky people. They deserve better.

I am a bibliophile, that makes me love books and besides of my purpose

above, I wanted to have carrier as a Translator or Lecturer or Professor. That
three professions are related with my hobby so I still can do my job while
enjoying what I love. The reason I chose English in Sebelas Maret University is
simple, because I love it, and I wanted to share my knowledge to people.
