As a recent Bachelor of Pharmacy graduate, I am looking forward to applying my skills in a

practical setting. I am a hardworking, enthusiastic person and would be thrilled to work for

Since graduating I have undertaken a professional placement at DrugSmart Pharmacy to

further enhance my patient counselling skills and gain additional dispensing experience.
Drugsmart Pharmacy is a high traffic environment, requiring me to utilise my outstanding
ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks, including customer service, technical and
administrative tasks.

My day-to-day responsibilities include providing a range of patient medication advice for both
prescription (S4) items, OTC (S2, S3 and S3A vitamins and complementary medicines) and
extemporaneous products. I conduct all patient consultations with the utmost professionalism
and confidentiality, ensuring that I carry out all tasks in accordance with Quality Care
Pharmacy Standards. As a result, I have quickly become a valued member of the team and
receive commendation for my attention to detail and professional work ethic.

My background in clinical pharmacy has provided a sound framework for my transition to a

customer-facing role. Having encountered a diverse array of patients, I have gained excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to solve problems and handle
challenging situations. During my various work placements, I have become proficient in using
AMFAC and LOTS integrated dispensing/point of sale suites, as well as receiving training in
FRED Dispense. I am also registered with The Pharmacy Board of Australia.
