Product Description: The Pointwise product family consists of the Pointwise software program,
documentation, software maintenance (corrections and new releases), training, and software support
(consultation on Pointwise usage).

Hardware: Pointwise is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac. For specific hardware and operating
system requirements, please refer to our web site.

General Terms: The right to use Pointwise is licensed on an annual basis for each concurrent Pointwise
process on a computer network. Complete terms and conditions are contained in the Right to Use License
Agreement.

Baseline License Fee: The license fee is $10,500 for a single-user, networked, right-to-use, annual
Pointwise license.

Perpetual Licenses: The right to use Pointwise on a perpetual basis is available for three times the annual
license fee. The first years maintenance fee is included in the perpetual license fee. After the first 12 months,
continuing maintenance and support can be purchased for 18 percent of the original license price for each 12-
month period. If maintenance and support lapses, it can be reinstated within three years of the expiration
date by paying for the lapsed duration plus the new maintenance period.

Fees: Sales and/or other taxes may apply. Any wire transfer or funds transfer fees are the purchasers
responsibility.

Multiple Process Discount: Discounts are applied to the incremental license fee for each additional process
added to a Pointwise networked license server. The discounts apply to Pointwise processes controlled by a
single license server. Licenses must have the same expiration date to qualify for the multiple process discount.
Discounted multiple processes must be renewed under the same purchase order. The pricing schedule is
displayed in the table below.

Maintenance and Support: The license fee includes software support and maintenance. Support includes
training and email and toll-free telephone consultation in the use of the software. Maintenance includes
corrections and new releases that occur during the license period.

Training: The training fee is waived for current clients who attend a regularly scheduled Pointwise Training
Course at Pointwises Fort Worth, Texas, office.

Three-day Pointwise training courses can be arranged at your site for up to 25 attendees. Pointwise, Inc. will
provide one training instructor for up to 10 people for $10,000 or we will provide two training instructors for
11 to 25 attendees for $15,000. Please phone or email for a quote. Training facilities, including workstations,

Proprietary Interface Development: An interface from Pointwise to your proprietary file format can be
added for a firm fixed price, typically $15,000. Development requires formal written documentation of the
format and the joint testing of the interface. The quoted price is subject to technical review. For more details,

Academic Discounts: The baseline annual license fee for eligible full-time professors and staff at degree
granting colleges and universities is $2,200.

Pointwise Teaching Partnership: Recognized academic institutions already having at least one Pointwise
academic license can add 30 additional licenses for the duration of a class at no additional charge. The
additional licenses are only to be used for the class, and the instructor must certify this in writing. For more

Research Discounts: The baseline annual license fee for eligible not-for-profit, non-government engineering
research institutes is $6,350.

Third-Party Purchasing Agencies: Third-Party purchasing agencies and web portals may be subject to a
$500 processing fee. Please contact sales@pointwise for more information.

License Server Transfer Fee: A transfer fee of $250 will be applied to any permanent license transferred
from the original license server to a different license server if the customers maintenance is expired.

Right to Use License Agreement Changes: A fee of $500 plus incurred legal expenses will be charged for
any customer-requested modifications to the Pointwise Right to Use License Agreement.

Extended Payment Terms: A fee of $500 will be charged for payment terms beyond net 30.
