Summary

Before the Flood is an eye opening documentary from National Geographic that follows
Leonardo DiCaprio through different nations interviewing leaders and citizens about what can be
done to prevent an increase in global warming. His true concern and visuals of the disastrous
decisions we are making to not take care of this planet makes us truly aware of the action we
need to take now before it is too late.

Evaluation
Leonardo DiCaprio offers great facts and eye opening interviews from leaders around the world,
but I found that his main purpose is to find solutions and overall hope that we can still do
something about climate change. When watching this documentary, there is no questioning that
this is as real as a problem gets.

Reflection
This movie is great for giving insight in a global issue from different leaders and scientist. I think
it was very easy to comprehend and the transitions from nation to nation was outstanding. This
video would help guide a conversation with students on their thoughts and what they think
should be done to prevent this from continuing further. It gives a sense of hope as to what can be
done to save what we have in this world.

Summary
A map of the world gives people a visual sense of what we need to protect. Every country, state,
city and town are all is jeopardy here because global warming is not just in one place, it is
everywhere. It is our responsibility to take care of each and every location on the map
including the oceans. A visual can hopefully bring those who dont believe in climate
change, pollution, and global warming to start believing in it because everything on this
map needs protection and we should be doing everything we can to help the world be

This picture of the world offers the ideal image of what is at stake if we dont act now. If we
dont change our ways of living and protecting the planet, we wont have anywhere left
to live. People need to realize what we are fighting for and understand that global
warming is really happening. It amazes me to see how many people truly dont believe in
global warming or climate change.

such as, What do you see? Is it in danger? What are you doing to help protect our

be asking in order to help or get confirmation that these problems due in fact exist.

This article offers informative information on questions people are not willing to ask. These are
true concerns that need to be address and shared so that we can prevent global warming.
This site informs its readers about the Paris agreement and were the United States stands
with it. Not only does it talk about the Paris agreement, but it also explains that this
agreement is where nations will come together every five years to discuss CO2 emissions
and what they are doing to prevent an increase of it.

Reflection
I found this website to be very informative and a great discussion topic for what you are doing to
prevent global warming. It helps us understand where people stand on the subject as well
as what are we doing right now to help decrease an increase in global warming. I found
the questions really helpful and the answers to be very thorough. I thought it flowed very
easily and gave the reader a clear idea as to what was being discussed.

This website was informative to show to those who dont believe in climate change because
credible scientist are stating actual facts of what has happened to the world. Therefore,
not leaving those who dont believe in climate change to believe that something on this
planet is changing because of our ways of living. It lists all of the organizations working
together to help protect the earth. I thought the charts were very helpful to see exactly

This was a great excerpt that gave informative information about how humans are the reason the
climate is changing. It gives great insight from the early 2000s where computers have had a
huge impact as to how the climate is changing thanks to the data that is being collected. With the
