1. ISO-9000 make sure that an organization to focus on how they do the business. This is
by making sure each procedure and work instruction to be documented so there is
always be a specific procedure to be improved.
2. ISO-9000 help to improve efficiency and reduce the cost of quality by having the
documented processes as the basis for repetition which eliminate variation within the
process. Efficiency is improved when variation is eliminated and improved efficiency
would reduce the cost of quality.
3. It improves employee morale or discipline by asking them to take control of their
processes and document their work processes.
4. ISO 9000 improves customers satisfaction and loyalty by making sure the company
become a pro-active and preventative organization.
5. It reduces problems due to increased employee participation such wasted usage of man-
power by having systematic employee training.
6. It improves products and services by having Continuous Improvement processes.
7. It improves the profit levels by improving productivity and reduce rework costs.
8. It improves communications both internally and externally that improves quality,
efficiency, on time delivery and customer/supplier relations.
