This PC system will be used for gaming and other entertainment purposes such as watching
videos and streaming films & television.
It meets the needs of the user because it can run most modern games on recommended settings,
while the total cost is. 985.37 This is a decent price for a mid-range PC, as high- end gaming
computers can go up in the thousands. It meets the requirements of the customer because it shows
that you dont need the most expensive components in order to have a decent gaming computer
that can run games well, while not entirely breaking the bank. When researching the minimum
requirements for popular high-end games such as Grand Theft Auto V, PlayerUnknown:
BattleGrounds and Overwatch, the computer meets all the recommended requirements and could
run certain games on high settings.
The AMD FX 8350 is a high end processor with 8 cores. The processor makes it simple to overclock.
Performance wise, the FX 8350 is excellent for the price. It is not as expensive as some Intel
processors, but performs just as good. It is especially good for multitasking, which is something an
entertainment system should be able to cope with as well as running games.

Why I Chose The Components

Kolink Aviator Gaming Case The Kolink Aviator gaming case has a plastic transparent side panel
where you can see the internal components of the build. There is also case cooling available which is
a must for a gaming system. At the other side of the case there is a place where all the cables can be
hidden from view, so the build will look very neat and professional as there wont be wires all over
the place.
Corsair Vengeance RAM It can be overclocked to a certain power level where most other RAMs on
the market cannot do. For a cheap price, you will get a lot of use out of it so not only is it very cost
effective to the customer it also offers a lot of output power. This RAM can be optimized to run with
different CPUs and motherboards, where a lot of other RAMs on the market are only compatible
with one and not the other.
Gigabyte GTA-990FX Motherboard This motherboard is compatible with the AMD
processor and all the other components chosen for the build. It also has an onboard strip of red LED
lighting that has customizable effects, which will help enhance the PC builds appearance. The two
primary PCIe slots are reinforced using Gigabytes Ultra Durable metal shielding, which improves the
retention strength for larger, heavy graphics cards.
Corsair CX650 PSU The PSU is great for the price, and packs some great features that will improve
the entertainment system. Corsair also back the CX650 with a 5 year warranty which is impressive
for a mid-range Power Supply Unit.
Corsair Hydro CPU Cooler As one of the cheaper on the market as Corsair CPU coolers go, this
cooler is excellent for the price. It is a modern cooler system and has great performance and a quiet
environment.
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti When viewing specifications for high end games the GTX 1050 Ti does quite
well. It is very cheap for a mid-range graphics card, and it can perform most of the latest games at
Minimum or Recommended requirements.
3.5 4TB Hard Drive This hard drive will do well in a entertainment system because of its storage
capacity and the speed. The user will be able to install many games and not have to worry about
running out of storage.
Microsoft Windows 10 Pro I chose this operating system because most modern games require a
higher performance operating system in order to run the game at a decent standard. Windows 10
Pro is packed full of features that will come in handy for an entertainment system.

Office System
This PC system will be used for general office tasks, such as sending & receiving emails, writing up
reports and doing general Administration tasks using Microsoft Office applications.
It meets the needs of the user because it suitable for what the user requires. It is able to run
Microsoft Office and Email software and other general Admin tasks. The total cost of the office
system is 606.82. As it is only going to be used for Administration tasks, it doesnt need high spec
components, such as the latest i7 processor for example.

Why I Chose The Components

Clt Shade Micro Black PC Case I chose this case because it is quite small and basic, so it wont take
up too much space in an office environment. There is space for cooling systems to be installed in the
case to minimalize computer noise. Its also very cheap which is cost effective to the customer.

Intel Pentium Dual Core G440 Skylake Processor Again this component is cost effective to the
customer as it is very cheap for a processor. An office system doesnt require a lot of power and this
processor is more than capable of handling Office tasks.

Corsair CMVGX3M1A 160011 Memory The RAM in a Office system doesnt need to be too
powerful as it will only be handling Office related tasks and having a few Applications open at once.
This is why I chose this Corsair RAM for this build. It is of low price and will be very efficient for the
build.

GA-Z170-HD3 Motherboard This motherboard has an intel chipset so it is compatible with the
CPU. It also features onboard sound & Gigabit Ethernet. It has fast onboard storage with 32Gb/s M.2
The motherboard provides native 4K support with integrated Intel HD graphics via HDMI, so there is
no need for a graphics card.
COOLERMASTER G550M PSU- I chose this PSU because it has the intelligent 120mm fan speed
controller with honey combo mesh which will increase the airflow for better heat dissipation. This
can help prevent the computer from overheating and shutting down. With the Modular Cable
System only necessary cables are used so the airflow will be event better.

COOLERMASTER HYPER CPU COOLER I choose this because it is very cost efficient for the
customer and will keep the build cool even when under pressure. The fan is almost not audible while
carrying out Office tasks. At only 20 it is a very decent CPU cooler for the office system.

2TB Intel Hard Drive With a hard drive storage of 2TB, this is more than enough for storing Office
documents. It is very durable and has a high performance speed. At a cost of 72.99 it is very cost
efficient to the customer and will give them a piece of mind knowing that their documents are
safe and are unlikely to be lost should the hard drive become damaged.

Office Home & Student 2016 This is one of the most important software bundles for an
Office system. In this package there are fully installed versions of Microsoft Word,
Powerpoint & Excel, amongst many others. The customer is also able to store files in the
cloud with OneDrive. Microsoft Support is also available should the customer require help
with their software.

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro This is the latest Operating System from Microsoft. Available
with this is support from Microsoft should the customer have any issues with the software on
their PC. It will allow the user to ensure that their computer has all the latest updates and is
running at the best it is able to technical wise.

For a low cost processor, the Intel Pentium Dual Core G440 has decent specifications. An office
system does not need a processor such as i7-6700k, because it doesnt need the added features and
power. The Intel Pentium Dual Core G440 is more than efficient to carry tasks in the Office sector,
such as creating spreadsheets and typing up letters. The processor will also allow the computer to
multi task, such as having multiple documents open at one time and sending e-mails at the same
time.
