AT THE SOWA POWER STATION

IN BOSTONS SOUTH END NEIGHBORHOOD

RENOWNED BEER FESTIVAL TO FEATURE

OVER 50 CRAFT BREWERIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD

WHAT: Copenhagen Beer & Music Festival, one of the worlds most celebrated craft beer events,
will bring over 50 international and domestic breweries to Boston this weekend, showcasing rare
and coveted brews of both national and local fame. This year also marks a change in venue from
last years City Hall Plaza to the festivals new location at the SoWa Power Station in Bostons
South End Neighborhood.

Copenhagen Beer & Music Festival is a collaboration between Mikkeller Brewing, the acclaimed
Danish microbrewer and founder of Denmarks original Copenhagen Beer Celebration,
and Boston Calling Events, the Boston based team behind the highly successful Boston Calling
Music Festival. Copenhagen Beer & Music Festival will feature some of the worlds most highly-
acclaimed breweries including Belgium-based Bokkereyder, Cloudwater Brew Co. from
Manchester, England, and Alefarm from Copenhagen, Denmark. Paying homage to the
flourishing craft beer scene in the United States, Copenhagen Beer & Music Festival will also
welcome breweries like Brooklyn-based Other Half, 3 Floyds Brewing Co. from Munster,
Indiana, Bottle Logic from Anaheim, California, and Funky Buddha from Oakland Park,
Florida. Some of the top breweries in Massachusetts will also be present, including
Woburns Lord Hobo Brewing Co., Everetts Night Shift Boston-based Trillium, and Exhibit
A from Framingham.

Several prominent brewmasters will be onsite pouring their own beers including: Curt Rachocki
of Voodoo, Matt Tarpey of The Veil, Michael Kane of Kane Brewing, Brandob Bukner of
Bottle Logic, and Sara Maya of Fonta Flora.
To pair well with the delicious brews, attendees can look forward to tasty fare from Roxys Grilled
Cheese, Tasty Burger, Zinnekens Waffles, and BBDs Beers, Burgers, Desserts.

This years live music lineup at the festival celebrates both national and local talent, including, The
Tremolo Beer Gut, Bostons favorite beer-swigging country-folk-punk-rock
band, Tigerman WOAH, American rock band These Wild Plains, and multi-instrumentalist and
psychedelic country singer Hayley Thompson-King.
