Task-03

Constructing a construction is not an easy task to do without any companionship .When there is
successful construction there must be lot of parties involved .The parties which is going to involve
depends on the construction .

If it is a quiet big construction there must be lots of parties involve as I mentioned in task 02.With the
supports of all the parties in loved, we can have a very successful construction as exsample,

Without the project manager there is no one to handle it clearly for deputy construction manager.

Without accurate quantity surveying, there is a delay for contractor to build

Without the accountant there will be also delay in construction because there is no one to help deputy
monitoring manager

We can get over from these all tasks perfectly if we have a good companionship in between all the
people work among the site.

Task-04

Site is around by lot of houses so that is a major problem .in that case,

Cannot move cranes properly

Sound due to the heavy machinery

Heavy wind coming to the building (safety of the workers).

Couldnt have enough water to get for the purposes.

Task-05

Problem Solution
Cannot move cranes properly Get use to move cranes by taking it in to parts and
fix at that other place
Sound due to the heavy machinery Do the heavy works at the night. And mostly they
have put sound barriers
Heavy wind coming to the building (safety of the Make protective belts and required other
workers). protective things (steps and elevators)
Couldnt have enough water to get the purposes. Two water recycling plants
No enough electricity Have a big voltage generators and small backup
generators.

Task-06

Sound due to heavy machinery will occur a major problem to this construction site therefore it will be
good if they work with heavy machinery at the night .it will provide more and more accuracy to the
construction. And construction time will reduce on that case

It will directly effects to the money which we have to spend to the construction

If they have one more big generator they can complete the construction zoon and that will also effect to
the cost

Motivational programs to workers and salary increments for works

If they approved by the government they can use the water of diyawanna oya and that will also help to
reduces the cost and the time period of construction.

Task-07
Sustainable site,

Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to both a structure and
the application of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a
building's life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and
demolition.

Sustainability is one of the worlds most talked about but least understood words. Its meaning is often
clouded by differing interpretations and by a tendency for the subject to be treated superficially. For
most companies, countries and individuals who do take the subject seriously the concept of
sustainability embraces the preservation of the environment as well as critical development-related
issues such as the efficient use of resources, continual social progress, stable economic growth, and the
eradication of poverty.

In the world of construction, buildings have the capacity to make a major contribution to a more
sustainable future for our planet. The OECD, for instance, estimates that buildings in developed
countries account for more than forty percent of energy consumption over their lifetime (incorporating
raw material production, construction, operation, maintenance and decommissioning). Add to this the
fact that for the first time in human history over half of the worlds population now lives in urban
environments and its clear that sustainable buildings have become vital cornerstones for securing long-
term environmental, economic and social viability.

There are lots of methods to have a proper sustainable construction,

Get use the green concept

Make solar energy
Use sustainable materials
Energy use and energy source,
embodied energy,
use of harmful materials,
Ecology and landscape,
Flexibility and durability of the constrcution
Waste management
water management,andDisposal
travel plan and pollution.
Renewable Energy

Energy effiency,

Cost savings are very useful in helping to justify installation of more efficient energy systems but the
main aim of sustainable construction in this area must be to minimise the harmful environmental effects
of energy consumption. In brief, these are:

global warming
acid rain
resource depletion
habitat destruction by fuel extraction
environmental damage from processing and transportation
photochemical smog

A reduction in energy consumption leads directly and proportionately to a reduction in these harmful
environmental impacts.

We can use ,

Global energy
Good waste management systems
Proper water management systems. As solutions for that.

Sustainable materials

Sustainable products are those products that provide environmental, social and economic benefits while
protecting public health and environment over their whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw
materials until the final disposal

There are lots of sustainable materials

Timber (in preference to steel).

Concrete reinforced with timber, bamboo or natural fibres.
Geo-textiles and other products made from crops.
Straw bales.
Materials that are accredited as being responsibly sourced (such as FSC timber).

As an example for above mentioned things,

Wood. Dimensional Lumber. Wood Treatment. Non Toxic Termite Control. Wood Flooring.
Engineered Structural Materials. Engineered Sheet Materials. Engineered Siding.
Wall Systems. Structural Insulating Panels (SIPs) Straw Bale Construction.
Flyash Concrete.
Earth Materials.
Roofing.
Insulation.

Windows and Doors.

Cabinets.

Task-08

Disposing waste materials act a major role in sustainable construction.it is basically like this,

Waste management is collection, transportation, and disposal of garbage, sewage and other waste
products. Waste management is the process of treating solid wastes and offers variety of solutions for
recycling items that don't belong to trash. It is about how garbage can be used as a valuable resource.
Because now-a-days Raw materials are becoming scarcer and energy more expensive, and all around the
world, soil, air and water pollution pose a risk to sustainable development. ... In Europe, waste is
increasingly being used to produce both materials and energy, and recycling now saves more
greenhouses gases than it generates.

Methods for disposing of waste materials,

Use garbage trucks

Make a good pipe line system(to collect the unwanted water)
Water recycling plants
Use maximum from the relevant materials.
Using septic tanks
Use turbines to make electricity by the unwanted water

Task-09

Plan to provide programs for laborers to know how much suitability is important to modern
society and how can we save energy
Use a solar panel system to power up the building
Use more green concepts
Plan to use products that minimize waste and are nontoxic
Plan to compost or anaerobically digest biodegradable wastes
Plan to reuse materials onsite or collect suitable materials for offsite recycling
Plan to consuming less resources means creating less waste, therefore it reduces the impact on
the environment
Plan to use Low-impact materials: choose non-toxic, sustainably produced or recycled materials
which require little energy to process
Plan to use Energy efficiency: use manufacturing processes and produce products which require
less energy

Task-10
In this construction water and electricity is the main components which acts the energy role. We are
getting electricity by the water throughout the turbines .This construction site is near to the
Diyawannawa oya also we know if we want to make electricity there must be enough fast water waves.
On the surface of the water, we know the pressure is normal air pressure. If we look inside of the water
there must be lots of pressure .So according to the pascal law nad bnuli law we know if the pressure is
high there must be enough fast to make electricity (need more than 10 m).so if we make a under water
power plant it will be great to useful for this construction and all others to .we can earn money by
renting it also.it is our heritage diyawannawa oya.so it is our responsibility to make it as better as we can
unless it wont be sustainable .

And also we can plan a system to use unwanted water as water to natural plants inside the construction.
First we have to recycle the unwanted water and put away those unwanted things .then we can put that
water to the plants not only that but also we can plan a system to use rainwater to plants and recycle it
and again we can get that to day-to-day life.

Task-11
Now a-days people tent to go for technologies in constructions .It can be used in three stages. They
are as follows,

Planning stage
Design stage
Construction stage

Planning and design stage,

In a construction, it is a main stage. Initially when the project is at the inception stage, the plan could be
referred to as a feasibility plan, while in the engineering and execution stages, terms such as preliminary
plan and construction plan, respectively, are commonly used. People are going to use this because of
the busy they have faced.

Technologies...

We can use like very advanced softer wares like rivet and sap
Making an actual structure of the building and let client know what is going to build.
Adding more green concepts ideas
Get used to build sustainable ideas as I mentioned before tasks
Planning to use recycle plants

ESOFT College of Engineering & Technology To Learn and to Apply for the Betterment of Humanity

Further technologies recommend,

Electrical doors
Electrical windows
Voice recognition lighting systems
Voice recognition ac systems
Advanced alarm systems
Advanced fire resistance systems
Advanced security systems

Construction stage,

Construction stage is also very important stage in construction manner.

Technologies..

We can use more advanced equipment

Can use more advanced machines
Tent to use pre-cast Walls, and Plies
Use advanced technologies at roofing. Like sunroof, and glasses.
Use more advanced materials like advanced bricks, admixes, and cement.
Use making machines to make walls at the construction site.

Task-12
Civilization has evolved because of modern technology. So the way we work and play has been
revolutionized as has the way we learn and communicate. And some people argue that without modern
technology, live as we know if would cease to exist. Also they are right in some instances. However,
there are many people choosing to live off the grid, which means living without modern technology or
conveniences. For most people though, it has made life easier and more enjoyable. Both the advantages
and disadvantages of modern technology should be considered to understand the effect of tech
advancement. In planning, design and production stage by using more advanced technologies we can
have advantages like,

Constricting speed and project speed will increase.

Errors will reduce and construction will be better than we expected.
It will help to easy day to day life rhythm.
By making good transportation regarding construction we can save time due to the traffic.
We can save energy .and it will be more sustainable construction.

No need for project manager to be confined to office.
Adobe files can be accessed and sent instantly.
Photos can be mailed to client architect instantly.
Search for specific items online.
Microsoft Project can be updated on site with client, workers.

Task-13

Lots of men will lose their won jobs due to the machines

As modern technology evolves, humans are being replaced by robots in the workplace. Many packing
firms use robots on the production lines instead of actual people. Businesses save money by having
fewer employees, but people have a harder time finding work.

Competency.

People are losing skills and creativity as we become more and more dependent on things such as
calculators and spell check. Our brains do not have to calculate simple math problems or spell words
correctly when there are tools to help with those simplistic tasks.

Safety will reduce..

Due the modern heavy machinery labors are going to move with there will be lots of accidents..

Energy consumption

Energy will use more by the new machines so it will be a major problem in the future..
