 SUMMARY
Lucy and Edmund stay with their cousin, Eustace.
One day they were arguing, and notice painting of a ship at
sea come alive. Thru this, they enter Narnia.
They board the Dawn Treader, and meet King Caspian X,
Lord Drinian, and first mate Rhince. Lucy and Edmund were
delighted, but Eustace was not, since he had always believed
Narnia to be inexistent.
In Narnia, three years have passed since the Narnian
Revolution. Caspian is currently on a quest of finding the
seven lost Lords of Narnia.
Reepicheep the Talking Mouse, also on board, seeks Aslans
country beyond the seas of the utter East.
They make landfall in Lone Island, center of the Slave Trade
Industry. Caspian, Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, and Reepicheep
are captured as merchandise.
A man buys Caspian, who was actually the First Lord, Lord
Bern (he was banished by Miraz). He finds out Caspian was
king.
Caspian replaces the islands greddy governor (Gumpas)
with Lord Bern as Duke.
They go to another island.
The ship is damaged by storm, so other try to find a way to
fix it.
Eustace does not want to work, so he leaves the group; he
hides in a dead dragons cave during a downpour.
He finds the dragons treasure, which arouses his greed. He
fills his pocket with gold and jewels; he puts on a large
golden bracelet.
He transforms into a dragon while asleep. BUT HE DID NOT
KNOW WHAT HE EVEN WAS BECAUSE HI DID NOT READ
FICTION BOOKS.
He realizes his bad behavior and tries to shed his dragon
skin; but he needs Aslan to do this. The process is very
painful.
Turning back into a Boy
Others thought he was an enemy, but Lucy was kind
enough to drop some cordial onto the dragons swollen
Aslan turns Eustace back into a boy he becomes a nicer
person.
Legs. Eustace was able to prove his identity by a message on the
sand.
As a dragon, Eustace was very helpful. (repairing ship, getting food),
but he was lonely. He wished he could talk to others. Reepicheep
talked to him ofthen tho, told him stories of his adventure. But others
actually planned to leave him behind coz he doesnt fit sa ship.
One night, he heard Aslan say follow me. He felt afraid, even tho he
could have eaten any lion.
They went to a pool, and Aslan told him to undress. He tried to shed
his scaled thrice, but didnt work.
Aslans voice said you have to let me undress you. He tore the skin
from Eustace and dropped him into the pool.
His armed stopped hurting and he is not a boy again.
He became a nicer boy.
After turning back
Caspian recognizes bracelet (owned by Lord Octesian). Maybe the
dragon killed Octesian? Maybe dragon is Octesian?
They go to Burnt Island, then to Deathwater Island, which has a pool
which turns things into gold (including Lord Restimar)
Duffers Island. Lucy encounters Aslan
Island Where Dreams Come True (a.k.a. Dark Island, since its hidden
in darkness.
They rescue Lord Rhoop
Island of the Star. They find 3 other Lords enchanted in Sleep.
Ramandu (fallen star) says they have to sail to edge of world, and
leave one crew member behind there.
The water turns shallow, so Caspian said he and Reepicheepwill
continue on boat, but the crew object, saying that Kings dont
abandon crews. Caspian goes to his Cabin, where Aslan tell him that
Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, and Reepicheep will go.
The four reach a wall of water reaching the sky. Reepicheep remains
behind, and never again seen in Narnia.
The three find a lamb which transforms into Aslan. He says Edmund
and Lucy may not return to Narnia. They have to learn to call Aslan by
another name in their own world. He sends them back home.

dragon's lair, but, as I said before, Eustace had read
only the wrong books. They had a lot to say about
exports and imports and governments and drains,
but they were weak on dragons. C.S. Lewis

dragon, wants to join the others.
Painful realization that you must repent (bracelet causing Eustaces arm to
swell)
Repentance undressing ones self. Must be sincere (Eustace tried thrice, but
he was just as scaly on the inside.
The necessity of Gods help in undragoning the self.
a. Undragon repent and convert
b. Eustace figures out the hopelessness of self-conversion
c. Monergistic regeneration God does all the work (Aslan removes
the skin, not Eustace). But still man has to cooperate and let God
work.

out of its cave to drink from a pond. And when it
finally gets there, it dies; He finds the dragons
treasure and foolishly puts a bracelet on his arm. If he

Love of Honor
Reepicheep is the soul of love, honor and glory When
Aslan was deciding to restore his tail, all other mice take
our their swords to cut off their own tails if the request
is denied This love mirrors their love of Aslan Love
for honor is a product of love, not vanity.
