Apex Welcomes Scott Shannon, PE, as Vice President of National Sales

Rockville, MD, October 17, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Apex Companies, LLC - a leading water resources,
environmental services, and industrial hygiene firm - welcomes Scott Shannon as their new Vice
President of National Sales.

Prior to joining Apex, Scott served as the Vice President and Area Leader for ARCADIS where he led
multi-year, multi-million dollar sales growth; developed the water and infrastructure design, delivery, and
consulting services for the municipal and industrial markets; and managed a $36M capital program that
included the design, construction, and acquisition of state and federal funding for drinking water,
reclaimed water, and stormwater drainage and treatment systems. His expertise spans utilities program
management and engineering design, coastal resiliency planning, water/wastewater treatment and
conveyance, and stormwater management. In addition to his technical experience, Scott has expertly led
and coached teams to meet the ever-evolving needs of government, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical,
mining, and power generation clients nationwide.

Scott has also served as a National Accounts Manager for Environmental Systems Corporation where he
directed the marketing and sales for the power generation market, as an Owner's Agent for Malcolm
Pirnie (now ARCADIS) where he led public-private partnerships for municipal waste-to-energy plants,
and as a Power Engineer for Florida Power & Light where he improved the reliability and efficiency of
fossil-fueled power plants. A registered Professional Engineer (PE), he holds a Master of Engineering
degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida.
