ENGLISH VOCABULARY AT SDN VOCABULARY TO THE SEVENTH GRADE

BACKGROUND In this research, the researcher focus in
vocabulary because of the though and

investigate problem in learning the English
vocabulary of elementary schools students.
Among all schools in Kandangan, there is only
one school RSDBI
When the researcher did PPL 1 and PPL 2 in SMPN
9 Banjarmasin, the researcher known that the
teachers used several techniques in teaching
vocabulary. Therefore, the researcher is interested in
finding out whether there is significance influence of
the teaching vocabulary techniques to the success of
learning process in SMPN 9 Banjarmasin

RESEARCH What problems are faced by the fifth year
PROBLEM students of SDN Kandangan Kota 1 in
2011/2012 in learning the English vocabulary?

COMMENT :
From the two thesis that I have read, there are several differences from both of them. First, the research problems.
The first thesis investigate the problems of students in learning English vocabulary. Meanwhile, the other thesis investigate
the techniques in teaching vocabulary to students. In the background part, the first thesis based on some theories of the other
researchers and in the second thesis, the background based on the experience of the researcher itself. For the method of
research, the first thesis use qualitative method, while the other one uses descriptive qualitative. The findings or the result
also show different conclusions.
