Hawar Resort Hotel

Location: Hawar Island

Hawar Resort Hotel at Hawar Island The first island resort of Bahrain totally
reflecting the traditional architectural style of Bahrain. This magnificent resort
complex comprises all public utility services well set with the traditional elements like
the projecting turrets and the wind towers. Following a beach theme, the infrastructure
consists of all resort amenities under the five star standards.
The focal point is the swimming pool with it's sundeck shadowed by the date palms
around. The suites along the identical blocks are well arranged facing the sea. This
stunning tropical atmosphere is well supported by an adequate ambience around. The
project was completed in the year 1996.

Al Safir Hotel

Location: Juffair

An elliptical structure unfolding an era of oriental architecture. This 10 storyed hotel

speaks of hospitality in every detail with it's peach coloured portico, stuccos
emblazoned and wide atriums that reach out to the skies. The interior with earthly
colours invite us to a stately mirrored courtyard.
Best western Baisan Tower

Location: Exhibition Road

Situated at Exhibition Road, this 13 storied geometrical mass depicting complex

mixture of cylindrical exteriors sets a picturesque pattern to the viewers.

Dana Hotel

Location: Seef

This is a proposed 20 floor five star hotel that is to be built next to the existing Dana
Mall in the Seef district of Bahrain. It will be a land mark luxury hotel in Bahrain with
about 250 deluxe bed rooms and 60 luxury suites. The design takes inspiration from
the hues and shapes of leisure destinations worldwide.

46 Storey Commercial Building

Location: Bahrain Bay

This 46 storey dynamic sculpture is a sight by itself, as its towering, twisting torso
provides dramatically different views, as and when observed at varying angles. It
manages to provide its' patrons with a panoramic view overlooking exclusive and
unimaginable sea views.
BCCI Headquarters

Location: Sanabis

A design competition was held where in all the leading Architectural Consultants
from Kingdom of Bahrain had participated. The design of ASDC awarded the best
design. The architectural from for this building draws inspiration from the shape of
ship.

Trust Insurance

Location: Diplomatic Area

2.5 Million Bahraini Dinars project, 24 storeyed office tower Trust insurance at
Diplomatic Area. ASDC has been chosen to be the local consultants for this project.
The building is proposed to be equipped with state of art Gym and Health club.

Commercial Office Tower at Juffair. This modern 23 storey contemporary tower

boasts panoramic views of the city. The design comprises of a concentric interlocking
geometry providing 16 floors of office space, retail area, coffee shop and mini market.

Location: Exhibition Road

This magnificent semicircular building located on the Exhibition Avenue comprises a

mixture of commercial and office spaces. The white painted external facade with its
blue aluminum framed glazing invites plenty of natural light required for the offices
and showrooms. The decorative motifs of Islamic patterns add to the individual
character.
Amiri Court

Location: Diplomatic Area

A prominent structure projecting a corporate image in the prestigious Diplomatic Area

in Bahrain. The linear domical roofs along the periphery of the structure signifies a
certain physical which set it apart from diplomatic skyline. The high-tech and
professional image is an important feature of the building. Reinforced concrete and
block work used along with floor to ceiling glazing ensures the entry of abundant
natural light in the offices of the upper levels

Awali Mosque

Location: Awali

A proposed Mosque in Awali. The design is a magnificent reflection of Bahraini

Vernacular Architecture with beautifully integrated Islamic design elements. This
mosque provides classrooms along with male and female prayer rooms. A unique and
monumental dome, with glass skylights, allows natural light to illuminate the interior
space of the mosque. At night the form of the mosque is accentuated with LED
lighting allowing the mosque to emit a soft glow.

Ali Kanoo Mosque

Location: Hidd

A proposed Mosque situated in North East Muharraq. This monumental structure is a

true reflection of Vernacular Bahraini Architecture, portraying beautiful, traditional
Islamic elements of Design.

A magnificent structure dominated beautifully by Islamic elements. The main prayer

hall is rectangular in plan with cube shaped projections at specific nodes. The corridor
is enhanced by custom designed chandeliers and imaginative lighting, which create an
impressive visual effect, especially at night.

AI-Enma Mall
Location: Riffa
One of the biggest malls in Bahrain with area covering 55,000 sq. mtr. The new amenities, state
of the art technology and family friendly features of this newly designed mall enhances the
overall shopping experience. The partial basement area has been dedicated to hypermarket
warehouse. The mall consists of ground plus 2 storey building. Contemporary in design and
surrounded by green areas, footpaths and ample car parking, it also has a central court, travelator

Supermarket Macromart in Saar was completed in 2012. This modern and highly functional
supermarket is located at the heart of Saar, with a modern and contemporary aesthetic; this

Al Dana Mall
Location: Sanabis
An architectural landmark of prestige and glamour located in the hub of shopping activity. A
haven of luxury, designed to provide convenient and luxurious shopping for all. It strikes as a
stylish and elegant structure with its facade in Jordanian stone and interiors with exquisite
stained glass ceilings and high domes. The central court features four travalators, two panoramic
lifts to ensure smooth pedestrian flow. A hypermarket covering more than 7500 sq.m. offering
huge variety of top brand names in every possible household category from foods to cosmetics.
Boasts of the finest cinemas in town, also occupying Al Dana Play Zone named
CHAKAZULU which brings entertainment galore for the young and adults alike. This play
zone offers parking space for 500 cars and also hosts a car showroom. This structure is built on a
budget of 10 million Bahraini dinars.

Reef Shopping Center situated in Sadad area, has a traditional architectural facade that
showcases the heritage of the locals to outsiders.

Bahrain Mall

Located in the country's prime shopping district, Sanabis, the biggest mall of Bahrain houses
8000 Sq.m. of Warehouse on the ground floor along with covered parking for 1250 cars. In
addition to the 'Geant' hypermarket covering approximately 12,000 Sq.m. on the first floor. The
shopping Oasis also has more than 50 individual outlets apart from a huge food court and a 3500
sq.m. recreational area for the young. The main eye catching features of the mall are the two
tensile tent roofs above the main central court and the recreational zone. The lush green
environment comprises of artificial palm trees & planters, is beautifully complimented by the
lighted fountain and a water pond. The sandstone clad exterior with it's corner towers has
inferences drawn from traditional Bahraini architecture.

Location: Karanah
ASDC have been actively engaged in designing and developing auto workshops and filling stations. Safety and easy
vehicular flow are of paramount importance in the design. This petrol station represents a well known landmark at Karanah.
The main feature is the suspended multi-tiered roof around a cylindrical mass
