Introduction:

Where do I start? Maybe some background of why I wanted to develop a Christian Bible study tool
correspondence school might be interesting to you.
On March 28, 2002, I was on my way up a windy road in northern Idaho to go have breakfast when
suddenly my cat started getting sick on the front floor of the right side of the car. I looked over for 2 or 3
seconds and then the car started going down the steep cliff towards a huge boulder!!! I might have turned
the steering wheel, but I don’t remember. I know I prayed and closed my eyes. Then I opened them to
see that the car was going sort of forward too into underbrush towards a tree near a stream. My cat and I
survived!!!! I only had a few minor scratches and bruises!!!! We made it out of the broken left front
window and up almost to the roadside. I yelled for help, and a driver of a car which had a window open
heard me and turned around to help pull me up the rest of the way. It was a miracle!!!!!!!!!

I believe that true Christians will be kept from physical death until the “before ordained” good works,
which Ephesians 2:10 speaks about, are finished. I have had one other experience riding in a car on a
mountain road where I thought I would die because the car spinned around on ice.
Now let me back track somewhat. Since I became a true Christian in May 27, 1967, I desired to
know about God’s truths. Since October of 1974, after being unjustly fired from a Christian school, I
really immersed myself into developing Bible study tools. By September 1978, after teaching two 4 th-
grade-class years in a Christian school, my passion for being part of the Great Commission started
growing.
Matthew 18:
16
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And
when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying,
“All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen

Other meaning Scriptures for me, especially in relation to all of the above are:
Romans 8 :28-- “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to His purpose.”
Philippians 4:8-- “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

In March of 2003, I met a wonderful nurse via Praize Messenger. I flew to Germany on faith hoping
for an Ephesians 5 marriage on June 7th. A little while later, the Holy Spirit guided me to change the
Christian correspondence school course list from the one I had hoped that a Christian radio station in
Albuquerque, New Mexico would use:

Continuing the beginning of my new ministry: I had my first student sign up on November 22nd, a
friend of a friend. Then a few other new friends via church and MSN Instant Messenger. Then I broke
my arm on November 27th and had to wear a sling for 3½ weeks. Then, painful rehab and physical
therapy up to now. So I didn’t get to do what I had wanted to do: contact Christian ministries that
have websites to request to be linked with them and to post on Christian forums in order to promote my
website. But many times, God’s ways are not our ways. So much has happened for this new Great
Commission ministry since December 29th, which was a Monday. That was when Pastor Justine of
Zambia (http://gatesofglorymin.tripod.com/) contacted me via Praize Instant Messenger. My ID is
Biblelover8. Since then, I have e-mailed over 500 courses and have had wonderful discussions with
Great Commission believers in 11 different countries!!!! It is almost overwhelming me. To God be the
glory completely!!!!
Then, on January 30th, I was contacted by Lisa in South Africa via Praize Instant Messenger and
she offered to fancy up my website. Please look at her website at http://www.shalommusic.org/ . Pastor
Justine plans to start a school using the courses. Pastor Tony in Nigeria has given some of my courses
to other pastors!! Pastor Chris in Malaysia is planning to lead Bible study discussion groups for the
deaf using the courses!! Others plan to share certain courses and parts of courses to meet the personal
needs of others!! I have developed hand-out versions of some of them which will be distributed by
street pastors and evangelists in Pakistan and India!!
The above explains why I believe that God allowed things to happen so that I wasn’t able to do as I
plannedd to in trying to promote/advertise the school: 1.) request links with other Christian websites
and 2.) to post a lot in Christian Internet forums and groups. In the next issues of this newsletter, there
will be testimonies of how the Holy Spirit is using Preparation for Heavenly Living Correspondence
School.

THE BIBLE-- Book of the Ages

Born in the East and clothed in Oriental form and imagery, the Bible walks the ways of all the world
with familiar feet and enters land after land to find its own everywhere. It has learned to speak in
hundreds of languages to the heart of man. Children listen to its stories with wonder and delight, and
wise men ponder them as parables of life. The wicked and the proud tremble at its warnings, but to the
wounded and penitent it has a mother's voice. It has woven itself into our dearest dreams; so that love,
friendship, sympathy, devotion, memory, hope, put on the beautiful garments of its treasured speech.
No man is poor or desolate who has this treasure for his own. When the landscape darkens, and the
trembling pilgrim comes to the Valley named of the Shadow, he is not afraid to enter; he takes the rod
and staff of Scripture in his hand; he says to friend and comrade, "Goodbye: we shall meet again;" and
confronted by that support, he goes toward the lonely pass as one who walks thru darkness into light,
-Henry Van Dyke
So great is my veneration for the Bible that the earlier my children begin to read it the more confident
will be my hope that they will prove useful citizens of their country and respectable members of society.
--John Quincy Adams
If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but
if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe
may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity. -Daniel Webster
