EXPLORING OUR CATHOLIC FAITH
Interest in exploring our Catholic Faith has been expressed by a couple of people. The Rite of
Christian Initiation is a process of preparing people for such a journey. Some people, however,
are interested in faith exploration
exploration and are not totally unaware of our traditions. Consequently, we
need to adapt a program in an appropriate way. We would, would, at this time, invite anyone who is
interested in such an exploration to contact the parish office now. We will prepare a process

mindful of where the participants are at in their faith journey.

PARISH MINISTRY: The on-going renewal of our Parish Ministries affords opportunity for people
to live their baptismal call. One are of need in liturgical ministry is for hospitality ministers.
Secondly, we will be seeking lectors for weekend Masses. If you are inclined to assist in this way
please call the office.

DIOCESAN MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSES: for 2010/11 are offered on the following dates:

PRAYER WALK & SERVICE: Renfrew Baptist Church is sponsoring a prayer walk on Saturday, Sept. 18th
at 2 p.m. There will be a short worship service at the church at 57 Railway Ave. and then proceed to a
number of locations in Renfrew, praying for our local officials (police, fire fighters, municipal workers),
teachers at the different schools and other selected people. The walk will be about 45 minutes to an
hour long. Please set this time aside so that we can pray for God’s work in Renfrew.
