My name is Ethan Chamo. I was born and raised in Midtown Manhattan. I am an aspiring fundamental equity
portfolio manager who enjoys researching the US equity stock market. I am applying for the position of the Equity
Research Associate because I am certain that I have the necessary skills to successfully carry out the job in an adept

I am a recent college graduate (3.41 GPA, Finance) from the Drexel University. During the course of my study, I
managed to gather 12 months of applicable work experience with the Susquehanna International Group and the
ConvergEx Group, while also graduating a term earlier. Currently, I am working as a Commercial Real Estate Debt
Capital Markets Analyst at J.P. Morgan. I have worked on the Asset Management team, as an Asset Management Analyst,
where I valued an $8b portfolio of mixed-use commercial properties. After excelling in that position, I was asked to
perform additional tasks for the Debt Capital Markets team in November 2016. After beginning to enjoy my new
responsibilities, I took the opportunity to transition to the Debt Capital Markets team on a full-time basis in March 2017.
Currently, I am working on financing opportunities for each of the respective assets in the Real Estate Americas portfolio.
My experiences have helped me develop my financial modeling abilities as well as my attention to detail and Excel skills.
During my time at J.P. Morgan, I was able to pass the CFA level I test and expect to appear for the CFA level II test in
June of the following year. I feel that my ability to read market trends, communicate effectively, and interpret information
quickly and efficiently make me a suitable candidate for the position.
