The teacher did not have a board up of the childrens birthdays,
so I wanted to create something that went with the room theme
to also showcase all of their birthdays.
Birthday Board
3 objectives
- Engage children in learning their birthdays as well as
their friends in the class
- Creating a sense of belonging
- Children are able to learn the different months of the
year
Materials used
- 31 clip art bees
- Scissors
- Laminating paper/machine
- Tape
I found clip art bees online and edited them to include their
names and birthdays on the wings. I then printed them and
laminated after they were laminated I cut them. In class I put
tape and put it up on the wall on top of the childrens cubbies
where it easily visible for them to see everyday.
