POND SHAPE

I was instructed to investigate about the shape specification of detention and retention pond.
When designing the shape of pond. It is not restricted to rectangular shape. Several shapes can
be designed into ponds such as:

i. Prismatoid
Suitability: For vaults or ponds with rectangular bottoms and vertical or sloping sides.

ii. Vertical Cone

Suitability: For circular ponds or vertical pipe storage.

iii. Pipe Storage

Suitability: For round, arch, elliptical or box pipe storage. (May be level or sloped.)

iv. Arch Chamber
Suitability: For generic parabolic arched storage chambers with a flat bottom.

Suitability: For specific prefabricated chambers.

vi. Custom Irregular Shape

Suitability: For direct entry of area or stage-storage data.
