County Fair hosts 4-H Championship Showmanship Event

Lessons learned here pay big dividends later in life
and the barn was full of children

year raising their animals to show
and later auction. They were still
busy cleaning, feeding, petting
and generally caring for their ani-

But there was time to get ac-

children and teens that had en-
tries there.
Amber Farmer 16, who was
washing her steer, looked up and
grinned as the animal munched
and enjoyed his sponge bath. She
said she enjoys taking her ani-
