I. WHEEL REMOVAL PROCEDURE:

II. WHEEL INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

II.A.1 Clean and inspect all parts of the Shift Engineer /


Install new tire to
wheel rim. Paint any parts that have Technician(s)
the wheel rim
rust or corrosion

II.A.2 Put the rim on blocks. Install the side Ditto


flange. Make sure the side flange is
engaged with the rim

II.A.3 Install the valve stem in the rim. Install Ditto


the tire on the rim. Install the flange
seat and side flange

II.A.4 Push the flange seat down for access Ditto


to the groove for the seal ring. Install
the seal ring

II.A.5 Install the lock ring. Make sure all Ditto


parts are correctly aligned.

II.A.7 Put the tire in a safety cage. Add 30 Shift Engineer/


Tire inflation kPa (0.3 bar) of air pressure to the Technician(s)/ WS &
tire. Check that all wheel parts are Equipment Manager
correctly installed.

II.A.8 Ditto

Remove the tire. Hit the lock ring


Correct then re- lightly to make sure
install it that it is in the seat.
