This kit very easy to build. and can comfortably completed in an bour

that only tour of the eight aleevea are filled. Th18 will leave you room to
add the tetrahedra later.
Checl:: the pldUre.
Notice that your octah.edron has ~ faces. s1I vertices (tips), 12 edges. AND 3
ms ot symmetry (3 nice pairs of places where you am spin it between
your fingers). Think about what must be the shape of an e1ectro~ shell
which supports 3 pairs of electrons: two d1rections of spin are possible at
each spin axis.
It is very helpful once you have reached this point to f£el your model until
you can see 0 little tetrahedron on the SUrfaces of th.e octahedron. See also
how those yellow ntUe tetrahedron taken as a group make two larger
tetrahedron stuck "head to head" (as ifseelng each other 1n a mirror), thus
nesting nicely the central green octahedron. (Interdigitated tetrahedra).
Your 6 tips are now in position to make a cube. Connect the empty sleeves
with 12 of the Y red sticks to complete your cube. Notice that. draWing all
the diagonall1nes on the cube foces. would complete the tetrahedra
Nen use 0 small wooden sticks (about '51~. long) to double up the
connectors at the cube tips. Do this by placlng one end of each little stick

You might think frame a& a gabled root to put on one face of

Now put one (gabled roof) onto each face. again using only

cube edge an adjacent TWO "legged side. that the you
are creating the are aU pentagonaL 5 slded" you proceed
around cube, putting Uttle frames check to that you
create -4 or 6 s1ded new surfaOOs.
If you were to place five cubes inside your dodecahedron instead of the
one red one. they would be arranged Uke this:
(The angle at which the cube must be tUted to 'Wratchet" into the
7
dodecahedron is very stgnmcant)
Nett prepare for the next. phase of growth of your crystal model by taking
the 12 remaintng '516" short sticks and place 3 of the fivHleeve
connectors thru their center hole onto each little stide. Thus you will have
12 little assemblies With 3 rive sleeve connectors pushed tightly together
thru their center holes in the middle of the short sticks.
Now, tak1ng your dodecahedron back in hand. place a five sIded pyramid
like stellation on each face by placing a S red stick in each of the 12
groups of five empty sleeves. {60 total J red sticksl Use your prepared '5
sleeve connector groups. one on each tip of the 12 groups, but PLACE iHE .
RED snCKS INTO mE CENTER SID' OF FIVE SLEEVES. So that at each. new '5
sided tip you have a five sleeve connector tuuy used, with 1 empty
five-sleeve connector JUST INSIDE the red tips. 8Ild one pointing outward.
We will call the twelve sets of 3 five sleeve connectors, an INNER group. a
MIDDLE group. and an outer group. So now the MIDDLE group of nve sleeve
connectors is all fliled with the tips of the stellations from your
dodecahedron. (Arrange the inner empty '5-sleeves. one sticking out
between evf?ry pair of red 3" legs.)
Next. make an icosahedron by placing Y/J blue .,a connectors between ALL
the empty fiVe-sleeve connectors in the INNER group. So your blue tips WiU
all end up UNDERNFAm your red tips. Work slowly and gently: use a little
glue jt you need to. When you are done. your blue Icosahedron should look
Hke this. depending on from what perspective you view it
Notice tbat this is Uk.e eltending every iC088hedron edge straight out to
complete golden mean (1.616J triangles. This is also emctly wbat you dId
when you &te11ated the dodecahedron eatUet.
Lastly. you will use the Y/J gold wooden atlcks to complete the outer

easily trim them to length to make up for sllgbt dit'terences in the way the
connectors go together. Use your small Wire cutters to carefully trim each
wooden 8tlck to the right length to Just nicely fit betWeen all the remaining

A Look Inside Ou ... StClr' Mother
Remember when you learned how to draw a. five pointed 5tol.... by
starting at • point and moving your pencil to fiv~ alternate
pOint ••• without 1 ifting your p@tlcil? (Something 1 ike Betsy Ross

HC)ther natura s magic has i t th.t the edges o.f the p&!akson
I
that five pointed st.r are exactly 1.6180339 ••• ti~s as lon~ .~
the edge. of the centlltl" pentagram. This number is sometimliS
called the GOLDEN MEAN because it is such a ..avical ... atio.
If you connect the centerpoints of a pentagram, the new
pentAgram inside will have edges .6180339 ••. times a$ long as the
o ... iginal. This ratio will be repeated •• many tlaeii as you draw
another" pentagram inside your "nest".
If we lined up th~ ed~e lengths you would draw by nesting
pentagrams th~ numbe ... set would look like thi~:

1 .618033989 ~ ••
1..000000000
.618033'9 99 •••

ALSO
1.618033989 ••• = 7/5 * pile (e is the base of
the natu ... al logs)
Another piece of the magic here i . that neated pentagrams
make nested spirals. That is if you curve connect tn. outside
edge from end to center: and then the edge of the next 5maller
penta9rall'l touching that pOint from that end to its center •••
and so on. (It's eASier to do it than to read about it.) •••
The result 1s a spiral.
In fact if you curve c::cnnect all thv pOints in you ... star nest
in this mann~r, you will ha.v. ten of thestt perfect spirals ,o f the
"GQ1 dltn tiean II •
You can create exactly this same spiral by tracing the
outside points o.f "Golden Mean" rectangles (spiraling squares) •••

actual pulse momentum returns to enhance the next beat. But t.he
principle is vastly important. The body has chosen the natural
way to optimize its energetics via natures cl~saic storage media:
the standing wave.
The signH icanee of the nab.lra1 resonance of the heart
physiology extends far beyond the chest. The =t·a nding wave along
the main aorta results in a relaxation resonance of the heart
system at around seven cycles per $~cond. This sympathetic
resonance developing in the che$t cavity results in a measureable
shaking of the wholR body., In fact the body can be compared to a
multiply stringed musical instrument "'hos~ key is set by the
heart.
This re~nance in the sound or \icoustic spectrum is
measureable on a sensitive acceler(Jtneter~ We find that the
resonances which develop in the brain c:avity during relaxation

What is the 5ubstanc~ of this percieved intense momentum?
Physically, emotionally, spir·itl.1al1y, biolo4ijically, symbolical1y;
the Question deserves coherent answer6 related to all
discip'ines.
Kundalini is initially described as the feeling of extreme
Itel ectric 1 ike ll , erot ic , emot i ve sur4ijes t from the b~l!s.. of the
lipine, through the glandularlchakra centers, through the top of
the head. Th. Itl<.perienc:e for some becomes many-fal d more intense

potentially both biologically ecstati~ to the-limit of the human
nervous systems c_pac i ty to sustain ecstacy, and can be physica.l-

in spiritual work should be $een in th. overall context of the

What i5 the b io1 09 ice' mean in9 of eC'5taI;Y? Is i t a

We are here clo&& to numerous penetrating images from the
realms of crystallography, and interestingly the poetry of

wond~rfully illuminating of the deep meaning of
.motive/lntention~l purity. To conduct _ field with purity and
power (that is absence of destructive resistance/h.at),
electric:ally and spiritually requireB absolute order and

From 5tudents doing their agricultural summer cooperative

life at beautiful Crystal Hill has been full and stimulating.
Today a strong core group of friends called the "Network of
