Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Positions


Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for the two posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in
SERB-DST funded research project.
The details of project are as under:
Project Title Development of Integrable, Electronically tunable Fractional-order Capacitance
(Fractance) and its applications

Position Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (02)
Nature and The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration
duration of is of three (03) years. The PI and Institute reserves the right to terminate the engagement
post of the JRF at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory.
Needs to carry out extensive design and experimentation with the fractional-order
networks and fractional-order devices.
Qualification M. Sc. In Electronics with NET or M. Tech./M.E. degree in Electronics and Communication
Engineering/Nanotechnology or equivalent, with first division.
(The student having prior experience in Material and/or Device Characterization,
Low Power VLSI Design, Impedance Modelling, Cadence Virtuoso tool
simulations etc. will be preferred)
Fellowship INR 25,000/- per month for initial two years, INR 28,000/- per month for third year and
20% HRA.

The applications with complete bio-data and photocopies of certificates should reach the Principal Investigator by
or before 12-09-2017, 4:00 pm.

NOTE:
Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit. The date of interview and other relevant
updates, if any, shall be uploaded the on departmental website.
Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear in person with originals of degree certificates along with
any other relevant information (like copies of publications, awards, recommendations etc.).
No TA/DA or any other allowances is admissible for attending the interview.
Candidates will not be considered in absentia.
