The teacher asked me to assist during the Terry Fox Run to
make sure all the students stay on the right path. As well as
complete a few different tasks.
Terry Fox and Alphabet Mystery
3 objectives
- The children will be able to enhance their large and
small muscles during the walk (7.2)
- The children will be able to raise awareness for cancer,
while walking and/or running around the block to
symbolize how Terry Fox ran across Canada
- The children will be able to trace, rewrite and copy
words, and using their knowledge to write (1.1)
Materials used
- Booklet
- Pencils
- Glue
Step-by-step Description
In the morning I was able to paste different pages with letters
written, inside the booklet for the children to practice their
writing skills and enhance their knowledge of the alphabet. In
the afternoon I walked with the students to ensure their safety
around the neighbourhood to raise awareness for cancer.
