From the data obtained during the experiment, the students observed that concentration

greatly affects the amount of the acetic acid absorbed with the activated carbon as the adsorbent.

They observed that as the concentration decreases, the amount of the acetic acid absorbed

decreases. The success of the experiment was based on the careful observation of the procedures

and proper handling of the apparatus and reagents. It was also based on the careful determination

of the weights of the activated carbon and the proper observation of the titration process. Possible

errors encountered by the students were from the natural factors such as air during the weighing

of activated carbon since some balances used are not covered with glass.
