I will show the children at the activity which pom poms fit where. I
will provide the children with the assitance they need if I notice that
they are struggling with using the tongs or recognizing the different
sizes. I will provide as much support as possible and gradually remove
myself as I notice that the children are getting the hang of it. I will
provide both verbal and physical support to those children that need it.
This will help them move from assisted performance to independent
functioning.
