RESUMEN
La comunicacin interauricular (CIA) corresponde al 10% de las cardiopatas congnitas acianticas la cual tiene como
forma ms comn la de ostium secundum (70%). Se expone la experiencia institucional de manejo y tratamiento de la
comunicacin interauricular asociada a hipertension pulmonar, agravada con neumona aspirativa en un paciente
femenino de un mes y trece das, nacida por parto vaginal a las 41 semanas, con una masa de 3.26 kg. producto de la
tercera gestacin de madre aosa (47 aos), sin complicaciones durante el embarazo y parto, la cual es referida del
Hospital Regional de Cajamarca al Hospital II EsSalud Cajamarca al cual ingres por un cuadro de dificultad respiratoria,
cianosis generalizada y flacidez de cuatro extremidades donde es derivada a UCI neonatal para hacer intubacin
endotraqueal y se estabiliza con tratamiento farmacolgico y se prepara para tratamiento quirgico en el Instituto
Nacional del Corazn (INCOR).

ABSTRACT
Atrial septal defect (ASD) correspond to 10% of acianotic congenic cardiopathy which have the more common way the
ostium secundum (70%). To present the institutional experience of handle and treatment of interauricular
communication associated to pulmonary hypertension, aggravate with aspiration pneumonia in a 1 month 13 days old
female pacient, was born for vaginal way at 41 weeks, with mass 3,26 kg. result of third pregnancy of old mather (47
years old), without complications for pregancy and birth, is refered from Regional Hospital of Cajamarca to EsSalud
Hospital II Cajamarca when is admited for respiratory difficulty, generalizated cyanosis and limbs flaccity where is
derivated to neonatal ICU for make endotracheal intubation and estabilize with pharmacological treatment and
prepare for surgical treatment at Heart National Institute.
