This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq.
Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on October 7, 2017 and October
8, 2017.
If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is in violation of
the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that they make a statement
at this time.
The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on video and
will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77 and Fios Channel 46. The full
meeting recording will also be made available on BoardDocs, which can be accessed through the
district homepage.
The Hoboken Board of Education is committed to preserving the decorum of the public process and is
mindful that we live in the electronic age of computers, cell phones and other electronic

Recommended RESOLVED, that the Board of Education, upon recommendation of the Superintendent and in

Hoboken Administrators Association, approves a payment to the following administrators for the
attainment of the following goals:

Recommended Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.11(c)3, the Board Secretary does certify that no line item account

violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.11(a). Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.11(c)4, the Hoboken Board of
Education has reviewed for the minutes of this meeting the Board Secretary and Cash Flow
monthly financial reports for August 2017 are in agreement and that no major account or fund
has been over-expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:23-2.11(b).

damage the turf
Portable heater and/or any open flame
Any golfing or throwing activities such as hammer, shot, discus or javelin
Suntan lotions, oils or creams of any kind - Please apply sunblock prior to entering the turf area
Failure to comply with these rules will result in users being asked to leave and / or immediate cancellation of

designee to confer with representatives of the nonpublic schools within the district prior to
October 31, 2017 for the purpose of advising the nonpublic schools of:
1. the limit of funds available for the provision of security services;

2. the security services, equipment, or technology to be provided to the nonpublic school;
3. the date when the board of education will meet to approve how the security services,
equipment, or technology will be provided to the nonpublic school
AND WHEREAS the chief school administrators designee has met with representatives from
each of the districts nonpublic schools to review the guidance and reached agreement on the
security services, equipment, and/or technology to be provided to the nonpublic school within
the limit of its funding, and
AND WHEREAS each nonpublic school has agreed to specified assurances as to the above,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Hoboken Board of Education approves the following:

Recommended WHEREAS the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) guidelines for administering the

AND WHEREAS the chief school administrators designee did meet with representatives from
each of Hobokens nonpublic schools to review the guidance and reach agreement on the
technology services and/or equipment to be provided to the nonpublic school within the limit of
its funding; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that each Hoboken nonpublic school has signed a statement of
assurances confirming the districts adherence to the above listed guidelines and the Hoboken
Board of Education approves the following distribution of Technology Aid funds as follows:
