Recruiting Details: Graduate Students for M.S., Ph.D., or Combined Course (starting from 2018 Spring Semester)

Description: One or two positions for graduate students are available for the research on the following subjects: (1)
Development of Electroactive Polymer Actuators and Sensors, (2) Development of Piezoelectric Nanofibers for Self-
Powered Multifunctional Fabrics, (3) Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Defects in Solids, and (4) Computational Study
on Fracture with Finite Element Analysis. These positions will be supported by the research projects funded by the
National Research Foundation of Korea and Arkema-Piezotech (www.piezotech.eu). The detailed information can be

Haptic applications of electroactive polymer actuators Multiscale analysis of grain boundary fracture

Eligibility/Requirements: An applicant must have an undergraduate or master degree granted in mechanics or materials
science, or must be able to complete such a degree before starting the appointment. Applicants should have TOEIC score
higher than 600 or equivalent status.

Scholarships: Successful applicants will receive

(1) CAYSS scholarship (100 % of Tuition Fee)
(2) A financial support of at least 800,000 KRW/month (M.S. students) and 1,200,000 KRW/month (Ph. D. students).
(3) Additional research incentives depending on students achievements can be provided. More details can be offered
