Tawheed:
Tawheed i.e. belief in one Allah alone is such a strong Faith and foundation of Islam
upon which the whole structure of Islam architect. All Prophets have called their people on True
Faith. Worship is the exclusive right of Allah owed to Him alone. Tawheed is such an essential
part of Faith that Prophet (P.B.U.H) during the thirteen years of His preaching in Makkah focused
on Tawheed (Oneness of Allah) mainly and called people upon Tawheed by forbidding any
partners to Allah. The Holy Quran is full of this concept of Monotheism, and most of the verses
of Holy Quran are about Tawheed.

Versus from holy Quran:

[Al-Araf 7: 59]
Translation:
We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity
other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day.

[Surah Sad 38:5]

Translation:
Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing."

Quran Surah 22. Al Hajj verse 73

Translation:
O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create
[as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from
them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from him. Weak are the pursuer and pursued.

Al Araaf ayat 172

Translation:
And [mention] when youre Lord took from the children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants
and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we have
testified." [This] - Lest you should say on the day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were of this unaware."

Luqman verse 11
Translation:
This is the creation of Allah. So show me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the
wrongdoers are in clear error.

Types of Tawheed:
There are three types of

1. Tawheed ar-Ruboobiyyah
2. Tawheed al-Ulooliyyah
3. Tawheed al-asmaa was-sifaat
 1. Evidence of Tawhed ar-Ruboobiyyah:

Translation:

Say: Who owns the earth and all that is on it, if you truly have knowledge? They will say: Allaah.
Say: Then wont you be reminded? Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?
They will say: Allaah. Say: Then wont you have taqwaa? Say: In whose Hands are the treasures of
everything, and He protects while there is no protector against Him, if you truly have knowledge? They
will say: Allaah. Say: How then are you deluded from the truth? [Surah Al-Muminoon, 23:84-89]

Surah Yunus, 10:31

Translation:
Say: Who is it that provides for you from the heavens and the earth? Or who possesses hearing and
sight and brings forth the living from the dead, and the dead from the living? And who is in control of the
affairs? They will say: Allaah. Say: So then wont you have taqwaa?

Surah Al-Fatihah
Translation:
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -

Translation:
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:164

Translation:
The One who made the earth a bed for you and the sky a mighty structure, and He sent water down from
the sky that brings forth many fruits for your provisions
 2. Evidence of Tawheed al-Ulooliyyah

Surah Ath-Thaariyaat, 51:56

Translation:
And I have not created the Jinn nor mankind for any purpose other than worshipping me

Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:163

Translation:
And your God is one God, there is no God except Him

Surat al-Isra (17): verse 23

Translation:
And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one
or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them
but speak to them a noble word.

Translation:
And we sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except
Me, so worship Me."
 3. Tawheed al-asmaa was-sifaat:

Translation:
[He is] Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you from yourselves, mates, and among
the cattle, mates; He multiplies you thereby. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the
Seeing.

Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:163

Translation:
The Bestower of Mercy, the All-Merciful

Surah An-Naas, 114:2

Translation: The Sovereign of mankind.

Translation: The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Translation: Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
