The Miracle of the Pituitary Gland

Pituitary gland is one of God miracles, it weighs

approximately 0.5kg (small chic-pea has the same
weight). Although pituitary gland is a small gland,

it secretes several main hormones into blood stream and

it carries instruction to other endocrine glands in order to
stimulate them to release their hormones into blood
stream.

In a state of anger, pituitary secretes a hormone that

stimulates Adrenal gland to release Adrenalin hormone
into blood and that hormone produces about amazing
chemical , biological and physiological changes; it
prepares the body a if it were about to face satanic
powers as a response to threat sign resulting from
(anger) state. Adrenal gland secretes also cortical
hormones such as Cortisol to prepare the body
biologically to defend its self against psychological
exhaustion.

If a person undergoes these feelings for a long time ,

hormones secretion will increase resulting in damaging
chemical changes; these are :body tissues damaging,
secreting Glucose into urine…. And in the course of time ,
it might cause (Diabetes) , moreover Cholesterol
increases gradually in blood with the result of a potential
Angina Pectoris, Atherosclerosis (Hardening of the inner
lining (intima) of arteries. ) in addition to many other
serious serious diseases such as (psychosomatic)
diseases.

Containing anger , forgiveness and avoiding

tension is the correct ways to release the
damaging psychosomatic powers which damage
you. It is the shining way towards the
sentimental stability , the psychological security
and the spiritual happiness

Pituitary Gland Position

Pituitary gland localizes in the frontal base part of the

brain and is connected to the Hypothalamus- a region
between the
palate and the
brain

base, which is
secure place . It
is an important

secretes many essential hormones, it is the master of
several other endocrine glands, because its hormones
are the essential regulators and the main effectors of
endocrine glands.
Microscopic Structure of Pituitary Gland

It consists of tow lobes that structurally and functionally

differ from each other

1. Anterior Lobe (Adenohypophysis) which consists of

epithelial cells.

2. Posterior Lobe (Neurohypophysis) which consists of

para-neurons.

Hormones secreted from the anterior lobe can be

classified into two groups:

a. Hormones that affect body tissues directly.

b. Hormones that affect other endocrine glands and

stimulate them to release their hormones.

Common Pituitary Gland Hormones

Growth Hormone (GH): This is responsible for

tissues and organs growth. Its main function is to
stimulate cells to the produce protein required for
tissues formation.

Anterior Pituitary

This part consists of terminal anterior lobe and mid lobe.

The anterior lobe produces at least six protein hormones
in spite of its small magnitude (volume).
1. Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) regulates thyroid
gland hormonal secretion.

2. Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) stimulates

adrenal cortex.

3. Two of stimulating hormones are called Gonadotrropic

Hormones because they affect gonads: the first one is
Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH).

4. The second one is Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

which stimulates connective cells.

5. Prolactin (PRL) stimulates milk production from

mammary glands in females. It also has other roles in
primitive vertebrates.

6. Growth Hormone (GH) is responsible for structural

formation such as bone elongation, proteins precipitation
in muscles and body formation.

In primitive vertebrates, mid lobe releases Melatonin that

Stimulates a hormone (MSH) that controls black stain
(pigment) diffusion inside the cells containing pigments in
order to enable those cells to match animal habitation
more successfully.

In mammals and birds, posterior lobe produces

Melatonin stimulating Hormone (MSH) rather than
mid lobe which doesn’t exist in birds and some of
mammals. It seems that (MSH) has a minor role in
dying in case of endothermic animals although it
causes skin darkening when it is inoculated into
blood stream.

Pituitary is controlled by the hypothalamus; a portion of

brain that attaches nervous control systems to endocrine
glands.

Pituitary gland has mainly a regulatory function as

it secretes the harmones of gigantism and
dwarfism , the hormones that stimulate the
reproductive glands , Oxytocin (OT).( A hormone
useful in promoting delivery.) and urine diuresis –
suppressing Hormone

Posterior Pituitary

Posterior lobe of pituitary isn’t true endocrine gland, it is

the centre of storing and releasing the hormones
produced in the hypothalamus ,which produces two
hormones that are chemically similar. These are :

a. Oxytocin (OT).( A hormone useful in promoting

contractions of the uterus at the time of delivery;
also stimulates milk production during lactation.)

b. Vasopressin. (An agent which causes constriction of

blood vessels .)
Both of hormones are polypeptides contain eight amino
acids that are called (Octa Peptides) and they are fastest
hormones whereas they can bring about response within
seconds of their release.

Oxytocin has two reproductive functions in mature females

of mammals. It stimulates smooth muscles of uterus to
contract during delivery . This hormone (ISF) is used to
help woman undergoing difficulties during delivery and to
stop bleeding after delivery. It also releases milk from
mammary glands in response to nursing (suckling). This
hormone also exists in males but its function is unknown.

Vasopressin affects kidney to restrict urine excretion

(conserves water in the kidney), hence it is called
Antidiuritic Hormone (ADH). There is a minor function of
this hormone; it contracts smooth muscles of arteries so
that it raises blood pressure.

Where the so-called scientists to ponder over God

miracles that cripple human brain??

Absolute Creator. God is the creator , who figures and
