Case ending(s) required by an entry word after its object is / are indicated in
between parentheses. In the glossary section, (-) indicates the nominative case
(no ending), (I) indicates the accusative case, (A) indicates the dative case, (DA)
indicates the locative case, (DAn) indicates the ablative case, and (lA) indicates
ile: for example, a- (I) (to open).
Words written in the same way may occasionally have different meanings on the
basis of differing accent patterns. These specific accent patterns are also
indicated in the glossary section: for example, artk [artk] (now, henceforth);
artk [artk] (left over, remnant).
(gr.) indicates that the entry word is a term of grammar, for example, edilgen
passive (gr.)
The order of the words in the glossary follows the official Turkish alphabet.
